Apple plans to open a second AppleStore on 5th Avenue

According to information from the New York Post, Apple plans to open a second store in Manhattan, specifically on 5th Avenue.

The first Apple store in New York was located in SoHo, an area not as commercial as 5th Avenue. Apple would be negotiating the lease of a 21,000-square-foot building, which could cost between 3-4 million dollars annually.

The store would be located in one of the best areas of 5th Avenue in NY where a business complex and the Vidal Sassoon building had previously been housed. The building of this new AppleStore could become one of the most expensive, and contrasts with the opinions of many analysts who predicted that Apple’s efforts in stores with its own brand would not be rewarded.
