Call of Duty: Mobile | $ 1 million tournament announced

Call of Duty: Mobile will have a big online tournament

With the coronavirus pandemic, many gaming events have been canceled or postponed, including face-to-face e-sports tournaments. Fortunately for fans, many companies have decided to run tournaments online. Activision was one of them and we will have a tournament Call of Duty: Mobile.

Activision announced in a press release the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020 tournament, presented by Sony. Best of all, the tournament is not exclusive to professional or name esports players and virtually any player can register.

The tournament season will begin in its first leg on April 30 for qualified players on COD: Mobile and will feature a total prize pool of over $ 1 million up for grabs. Qualified players classified as Veterans or higher in multiplayer mode will be able to participate in four open qualifiers, held every weekend from April 30th to May 24th.

To participate, players simply need to click on “Register” for the game and their first ten ranked matches will be used to determine their ranking through tournament points. In the event that a player earns 80 points on any weekend during the first leg, he will qualify for the second leg. Players can earn rewards for signing up, making progress during qualifiers and qualifying for Phase 2. These rewards will change each weekend, so even those who have reached the second stage will still want to continue participating. The details of Stage 2 will be shared later on the official website.
