Deathloop: new gameplay video of the FPS for PS4 and PS5 of Arkane and Bethesda
Bethesda and PlayStation have released a new gameplay video of Deathloop, Arkane Studos’ original FPS for PS4 and PS5.
Bethesda and PlayStation have surprisingly published a new one through Twitter gameplay video from Deathloop. The video, rather short, we are talking, in fact, of about thirty seconds, shows the original FPS for PS4 and PS5 by Arkane Studos.
In case you don’t know what Deathloop is, here’s the preview of the new Arkane shooter
The premises of the game are summarized by the tweet linked to the video: “2 assassins. 8 targets. 24 hours. Do you think you can break the loop?” In Deathloop you play as Colt, an assassin who arrived on the island of Blackreef to eliminate 8 targets. Too bad that the island is not “normal”, but it is the site of a laboratory in which mysterious experiments have been carried out that have literally broken time, creating a loop that forces Colt to relive the same events.
The only thing loops don’t erase is memory, which allows Colt to learn and study new strategies with which to defeat enemies. As if this situation wasn’t complex already, Colt will also have to deal with Julianna, an agent who arrived in Blackreef to obstruct his actions in every way.
Deathloop will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC next May 21, 2021 and it is, despite Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda, a PlayStation timeline exclusive for exactly one year. The game “will not be available on other consoles until May 21, 2022”.
