Every hero needs a story, and the Epic Games invites you to show yours in Fortnite. Put your cinematic skills to the test when writing and directing the biggest superhero movie of Season 4.
Use the system’s replay system Fortnite and a bit of cinematic magic in the game to create a huge film starring the heroes of Season 4 and their adventures.
A WORTHY AWARD FROM A HERO
Submit your creations to compete for a chance to have your movie shown in-game on the treacherous reels screen for the entire Fortnite community, to have a poster of your movie in the world of Fortnite, to win V-Bucks and more!
NOTE: Your entry must be original and must include only scenes recorded by you and royalty-free audio.
The contest starts on July 2, at 11 am (Brasília time), and runs until July 12, at 00:59 (Brasília time). Entries must be sent during the contest period. See the complete rules. Share your application on social media and support other creators using the hashtag #FortniteBlockbuster.
After the contest ends, all submitted films will be reviewed and the winners will be announced on July 24th. Selected winners will receive the following:
GRAND PRIZE WINNER:
- Film shown on Treacherous Coils
- Film title displayed in the marquee
- A movie poster shown in the game
- 25,000 V-Bucks
FINALISTS (5):
- 10,000 V-Bucks
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Publish a movie to YouTube and make it public and searchable. Include the hashtag #FortniteBlockbuster in the title and send an email to with the subject #FortniteBlockbuster. Include your full name and your Epic ID in the email so that we can award your prize if you win.
NOTE: Epic may require verification using a procedure at its own discretion.
JUDGING CRITERIA
We will judge based on three different criteria:
CREATIVITY
- Is your superhero movie super?
- Did your film tell a story of the heroes of Season 4 in a creative or innovative way?
- Is your story original?
FORTNITE-DADE
- Were you able to capture the tone of Fortnite in your film?
DOMAIN
- Did your film demonstrate mastery of the Replay system and its tools?
Entries must be a film of at least 1 minute in length, but must not exceed 5 minutes. Your entry must be original and must include only scenes recorded by you and royalty-free audio. Your movie cannot be narrated or contain text on the screen. Entries must include the hashtag #FortniteBlockbuster in the title.
