Ghost of Tsushima, how does it run on PS4 and PlayStation 4 Pro? Here is the video comparison

How does Ghost of Tsushima play on standard PS4 and PlayStation 4 Pro? Digital Foundry reveals it to us in the inevitable video comparison dedicated to the game.

Ghost of Tsushima it is undoubtedly a visually complex and high-impact title, therefore how it turns on PS4 standard and PlayStation 4 Pro? As usual, Digital Foundry will answer this question.

The British newspaper has made an accurate video comparison dedicated to the title of Sucker Punch on both consoles, a comparison that reveals some peculiarities of this project. The others, of course, can be found in our Ghost of Tsushima review.

It starts from resolution, which on PS4 Pro uses the expedient of checkerboard rendering to obtain an output at 4K through a reconstruction technique that is confirmed also in this case very valid, while on the standard console it clearly does not go beyond 1080p.

It is however the frame rate to reserve the biggest surprises: on both platforms the game runs at a relatively stable 30 fps, with some drops during the most demanding sequences.

Lowering the resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro, however, doesn’t get a frame rate unlocked as was the case in the previous Sucker Punch title, inFAMOUS: Second Son, but a simple consolidation of the 30 frames, which become absolutely stable.
