Ghost of Tsushima: the new Japanese trailer is extremely evocative

The new Japanese trailer for Ghost of Tsushima shows some extremely evocative scenes of the game, also thanks to the original dub.

The new Japanese trailer from Ghost of Tsushima shows some scenes of the game extremely evocative. An effect that Sucker Punch achieved both by using the famous “Kurosawa” filter and by exploiting the original dubbing. The Japanese, in fact, makes what is shown on the screen even more exotic.

To point the finger on the spectacularity of this new video is Shuhei Yoshida, current head of the indie division of PlayStation who, evidently, has not lost the taste and passion for triple A too. “This is a very nice video of PlayStation Japan’s Ghost of Tsushima” he commented in a very didactic way on Twitter.

The video reported, however, is actually very “cool”. Although our Japanese allows us to understand very little, the shots, the scenes shown and the cut of the whole production of Sucker Punch seem truly excellent. These few seconds are enough to convey the tension of the fighting, the drama of the ongoing war and the power of nature.

A nature which Sucker Punch took a lot of trouble to rebuild. From this long explanation of how Tsushima Island was created, we understand that it was worth it and that it is no coincidence that the study achieved similar results.

We may soon know if Sucker Punch has been able to keep all of these promises. Here, in fact, when the embargo for the review of Ghost of Tsushima expires.
