THE Infinity Ward confirmed that it has already banned more than 200,000 players from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone since its launch in October 2019.

Infinity Ward announced that it reached this number on Twitter. The team also emphasized that it is constantly reviewing and evaluating security measures and that it has zero tolerance for cheating.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Infinity Ward had just banned 20,000 cheaters after tampering with popular software. The EngineOwning website notes that all Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone cheats are “detected”, which means that Infinity Ward will know immediately if you have any software installed when you try to play.

Infinity Ward will continue to ban cheaters in the game and work so that less can use them. EngineOwning site administrator AimBRoT said this week that the team will continue to “work on detection” and strive for hackers to return to Warzone without being detected.
