THE Rockstar Games is making a big change in the way it employs people after being criticized for its development practices. The company’s senior writing team revealed that it had 100 hours of work per week while working on Red Dead Redemption 2, while former Rockstar employees revealed that the crunch has been part of the company’s development process ever since.

One of the teams at Rockstar Games, which claims to have one of the most precarious working conditions, is Rockstar Lincoln, which tends to guarantee quality in Rockstar games. Three anonymous employees working at Rockstar Lincoln revealed that the company has converted them from temporary or contract workers to full-time positions. While it is not known how many people work at Rockstar Lincoln and are therefore affected by this change, it will give affected employees greater job security and less uncertainty about their finances, via Kotaku.
