Super Nintendo World, opening still postponed due to Covid-19

Nintendo has decided to postpone yet the opening of Super Nintendo World, the Mario-based theme park ready for visits inside Universal Studios.

Super Nintendo Worldthe Mario theme park built by Nintendo inside theUniversal Studios Japan in Osaka, it’s pretty much ready but can’t open yet and its opening was postponed again due to Covid-19.

Predictably, this is not exactly the best time to launch an attraction of this type and given the rules on social distancing they prevent the opening of premises or attractions structured to accommodate a large number of people, which is why the park is ready but cannot be visited.

Monster Hunter World bombarded with negative reviews, but the game has nothing to do with it

As reported by reporter Takashi Mochizuki on Bloomberg, Nintendo plans to do a new announcement when the official opening of the Super Nintendo World will be set, which for the moment does not yet have a precise period, at least waiting for the new emergency period that arose this winter due to the persistence of the epidemic to pass.

Meanwhile, the virtual tour is available to discover the park, which can already represent a solution to see at least what it is. The company also broadcast a special presentation Direct last month with Shigeru Miyamoto illustrating the various attractions of the Super Nintendo World, but to see them in real life it seems there will still be a long wait.
