Ever since Sony started releasing their exclusive titles on PC as well, calls for a port of Bloodborne have been heard here and there. FromSoftware’s love letter to HP Lovecraft was an absolute hit on the PlayStation 4, but remained painfully unplayable for fans of the Dark Souls games on other platforms.
There is no change for now. According to Twitch user BaityBait however, a PC port of Bloodborne was ever planned. Developer Virtuos was originally supposed to take care of this, but did such a weak job with the Horizon: Zero Dawn port that Guerrilla Games had to get involved.
Consequently Sony would have played it safe by throwing the Bloodborne port in the nearest garbage can. This is a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt, but it could very well be true. Hopefully Sony will try again soon with another, better placed studio.
