What will be the predominant color ranges in graphic designs in 2024? Pinterest provides some answers by revealing “Pinterest Palette” : a selection of colors that reflects the trends observed on its platform.

To develop this color palette, the company relied on its annual Pinterest Predicts report, presented in December, which offers insight into emerging trends on its platform based on the analysis of billions of user queries . “Our creative team analyzed Pinterest Predicts 2024 trends and filtered terms specifically related to colordetails the blog post. She then identified recurring shades among the searched keywords”. This semantic analysis was combined with an in-depth examination of current trends in culture, graphic design, fashion and interior design, completes the company.

What will be the most used color ranges in 2024?

According to Pinterest, here are the five color ranges that will be mainly used by design professionals in 2024:

  • Desert orange: “rich, lively and warm”this color palette draws its inspiration from users’ attraction to the world of jazz or the 70s.
  • Candy pink : mixing kitsch and pop style, this “delicate pink” will be particularly popular with designers according to Pinterest.
  • Aqua blue: This color combines users’ interest in metallic objects, jellyfish cuts and blue or turquoise makeup.
  • Moss green: This “green with leafy tones” emerges thanks to the enthusiasm generated by terrariums, plants, the “badminton aesthetic” and “tropical chic” decor.
  • Mocha brown: mixing the aesthetic of the coffee counter, the “American vintage” style and the world of westerns, this range of colors is described as “a deep caramel meeting a grayish brown” by Pinterest.
