Cyberpunk 2077: Dismantle and sell weapons

What can you actually do with the excess weapons in Cyberpunk 2077? Where can you sell the weapons and what does dismantling the weapon involve? In the new Cyberpunk 2077 you will find numerous weapons relatively early on that you can equip and use via the inventory. In addition to the common and uncommon weapons, there are also rare, epic and legendary weapons. Depending on how large your arsenal of weapons is, sooner or later the question arises of what you can do with the weapons.

Content

  • Dismantle weapons and get crafting materials
  • Sell weapons to the dealer
  • Disassemble or sell weapons?

Dismantle weapons and get crafting materials

The weapons that you don’t want to use can be dismantled into their individual parts and used to obtain valuable crafting materials. The materials can be used for crafting weapons and ammunition, but also for weapon upgrades. To disassemble a weapon you must proceed as follows.

  1. The first step is to open the inventory and open the backpack.
  2. Next you can select the weapon and disassemble it by holding the triangle button (PS4), Y button (Xbox One) or the Z button (PC).
  3. The weapon is then dismantled into its individual parts and on the left you can see which components you get for it.

Dismantling the weapon cannot be undone. For this reason, you should pay attention to which weapons you dismantle in Cyberpunk 2077. If you accidentally dismantle a legendary weapon, there is no going back (of course you can get the weapon again in the game).

Sell weapons to the dealer

If you have enough crafting materials in the form of components and need money in the form of Eurodollars, you can also sell the weapons. By the way, the weapons can be sold not only in gun shops, but also at other dealers such as a junk shop.

Disassemble or sell weapons?

Finally, the question arises: should you dismantle the weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 or sell them? Finally, you can also use the Eurodollars you earn to buy components from the dealer that you would otherwise get by dismantling weapons. Since you currently get very little money for simple weapons, it usually makes more sense to dismantle the weapons at the beginning in order to get the components for crafting. There are other and better ways to make money quickly in Cyberpunk 2077 than selling weapons.

Turn off Cyberpunk 2077 subtitles: Here’s how

How to disable subtitles completely in Cyberpunk 2077? Where can I find the option to hide the subtitles? This question may be asked by some buyers of the new Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red who would prefer to enjoy the very well done German voice output without subtitles. If you look in the settings for an option to display subtitles, you won’t find much, at least at first glance. The question arises, can you not turn off the subtitles in the game?

Cyberpunk 2077: This is how you can deactivate the subtitles

Yes, you can disable subtitles in Cyberpunk 2077, but the setting is not where many players think it is. If you want to deactivate the subtitle display in Cyberpunk 2077, you often first look in the settings under the “Interface” or “Gameplay” tab for a setting option. But you won’t find much here, at least in the current version, because the subtitle setting is located under the “Sound” tab.

Under the sound settings you will find the “Subtitles” section at the bottom and here you can switch the subtitles off and on separately for the dialogues but also for the background conversations. You can also set the font size and background color for the subtitles. By the way, the settings are applied directly; you don’t have to restart Cyberpunk 2077 if you have deactivated the subtitles. The setting is available in both the PC version and the console version on PS4 and Xbox One.

Tip: On the next page we will show you how to change the language in Cyberpunk 2077 and download additional language packs. This includes both the voice output and the language of the subtitles.

Cyberpunk 2077 Wanted Level stars – the police explained

The police in Cyberpunk 2077 is a factor that you should always consider, even if you are playing a mercenary who does not always obey the law. In general, you rarely run into the police, it is mainly the crime gangs that demand your attention.

But what if you accidentally run over a pedestrian walkway? Or one of those grenades you throw at an enemy accidentally ends up at the feet of a bystander? Then the police take action. You can read how hard the police are after you blue stars (1) next to your mini-map. These indicate your Wanted level.

The star system that indicates your Wanted Level is similar to that of GTA 5. They show how the police are after us. When the first star appears, a police officer and combat drone will appear in your area. They will shoot you without warning and you cannot surrender. Either you beat the cop (and make yourself worse), or you walk away.

The more police officers you take out (or innocent victims you make), the more stars you get. At two stars, more police officers will appear to attack you. At three stars cyborg police officers appear, who are already a lot stronger.

The maximum number of stars for the police is a Wanted Level of four stars. Then the Elite officers (2) in action. These can move very quickly and are definitely not easy to beat.

Escaping the police is pretty easy. You can see this as a good thing, but there are undoubtedly people who miss the challenge of games like GTA to escape their Wanted Level.

The only thing you have to do is drive away. If you do manage to get into a car, you can most likely walk away from the situation without trying too hard. The police do not use police cars or other vehicles to chase you. After a few seconds you will notice that the stars that indicate your Wanted Level start to shine and lose their color. Then they disappear completely.

However, remember that cars can be destroyed. If you summon a car in the middle of a shootout with police officers, there is a chance that they will destroy this car before you can get in. So you have to get behind the wheel as soon as possible, and best when the first star appears.

Cyberpunk 2077: All vendors and the best items in Night City

If you like, you can pass your time in countless shops in Cyberpunk 2077 and browse through the offerings of dozens of retailers. If you use the filter option on the world map and only display the service point symbols, you will still see an abundance of shops with different focuses.

The range of goods that can be found on site is not precisely regulated. Sure, a gun seller sells guns and a clothing store sells anything that falls into their category. But higher quality items are a bit random and do not show up with a hundred percent guarantee – or only later, after enough time has passed. In the following you will read everything you need to know about retailers and the range of goods.

All vendors and stores in Night City

It can happen that a dealer does not have the specified item (or several) in stock at all times. In that case, you can either come back after 48 in-game hours and see whether the random selection has meanwhile washed the item into the dealer inventory. Or you can go on an excursion as far away as possible and try again later.

Night City is full of vendors for a wide variety of goods. Filter the world map symbols by service points and you will see all the shops in the game world.

In general, we differentiate the relevant businesses in Cyberpunk 2077 into the following categories:

Cyberpunk 2077: Leveling handguns – How to improve your handling of guns and revolvers

The “Handguns” skill in Cyberpunk 2077 essentially determines – big surprise! – How well you are in dealing with it and how efficiently you can use the little noisemakers in the many shootings. This style of play is supported by 19 advantages that you can unlock in combination with pistols and revolvers in order to become even better and more accurate in the discipline.

The final reward for mastering pistols is a trait called “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” based on the classic Sergio Leone movie. In this guide we show you how to increase your skill and what advantages this has in 20 levels.

Cyberpunk 2077: NCPD Scanner Offenses And How To Solve Them

The so-called Scanner offenses in Cyberpunk 2077 (NCPD scanner offenses for short) are a huge, albeit rather “minor” part of the game – at least when it comes to the sheer number – that you quickly forget. Night City is full of these little activities that are not so laboriously told and staged as full-fledged side missions or assignments. There are a total of 346 offenses to be solved in the city and the surrounding area.

And yet there is a little story in every scanner crime, sometimes more, sometimes less obvious, and of course there is a reward in the end. It is therefore advisable to sacrifice a few minutes for these mini-missions, because nobody here goes empty-handed and the solutions do not exactly require an act of strength. In this way, the cash register can be improved in a very short time and with little effort.

A group of armed thugs in a backyard? Always very suspicious and in most cases a scanner crime that you can investigate.

The scanner offenses are usually limited to a very small area without burdening you with long walking or travel routes – for example a backyard or an alley. When crossing the city, keep an eye on the lower left edge of the picture. If a light blue NCPD overlay with logo appears, you are very close to a scanner crime and can investigate it if you are interested.

Possible activities range from simply wiping out a brutal gang that has established itself in a courtyard to thwarting attacks that are in progress. Some crimes also provide additional information on people from other missions or assignments and condense the worldview a little.

Types of NCPD Scanner Offenses in Cyberpunk 2077

  • Crime report: In the case of these offenses marked with a question mark, the murder has already occurred. You will usually find a killed person or a container with clues and from there you have to follow the tracks to the prey.
  • Raid in progress: The worst can still be prevented. With these crimes (spiked club symbol) an attack is usually taking place (e.g. on a gas station) and you can do your best to thwart the action and prevent human sacrifice.
  • Organized crime suspected: The skull symbol sums it up. This mostly concerns the hiding places of gangs who have settled somewhere. Solve the crimes by killing all members and then plundering the shelter (it is important to search the marked container, that is usually enough).
  • Rarities: These offenses are not flagged. The point is to find and loot the body of a fatally injured man.

Don’t forget to loot the marked containers or corpses. Sometimes they contain further clues and sometimes they are the actual mission content.

The offenses are listed in the journal under a separate tab (between “Orders” and “Vehicles”). The term in front of the actual title shows what kind of offense it is.

Important for trophy and achievement hunters: Cyberpunk 2077 has seven different successes linked to the scanner offenses – one per district. In short, you have to solve all NCPD scanner offenses in all parts of the city if you want to have the corresponding trophies / achievements. This affects: City Center, Pacifica, Watson, Westbrook, Santo Domingo, Heywood, Badlands. Each district has its own trophy, but to go platinum you have to complete them all (see Cyberpunk 2077: All Trophies and How to Get Them).

Look for such symbols on the world map. They mark the offenses.

The world map also provides important information and shows the NCPD scanner offenses with a corresponding light blue symbol (skull, club of nails, cube with question marks) – mark it and a line shows you the way there. The so-called “rarities” are an exception: These are about the fact that a person was killed and can now be searched.

Look out for a yellow mission marker with an exclamation mark for every crime. These usually point to a corpse or a container and mark the important item to be collected. In many cases this is a splinter with an explosive course of conversation.

Cyberpunk 2077 – an adult-only list of things in the game

CP2077 will not be a title for children.

IN LETTER:

  • CP2077 will be full of content for an adult audience – the list of reasons why the game received the 18+ category includes 28 items;
  • CD Projekt RED’s work will appear during the Summer of Gaming online event organized by IGN.
  • CD Projekt RED studio is known for making games dedicated to an adult audience and it has long been known that Cyberpunk 2077 will also be a similar production. The game has already received an age category from the vast majority of authorities responsible for such issues, although not all of them officially announced their decisions ( we know that in Brazil CP2077 got a rating of 18+). Thanks to the published information, we learned what content “not for children” can be found in the new title of the Polish developer (following the portal Gameguru Mania).

Admittedly, the list is really extensive – includes as many as 28 items and, frankly speaking, its content could easily cover several other games that would still have to be rated “18+”. The list includes, among others gun violence (as well as gun violence, non-violence), illegal drugs use (and descriptions of such activities), gun crime, vulgar language and verbal aggression, mutilation or suicide. The game will also include s*x and nudity, which are devoted to as many as 8 entries on the discussed list of “offenses” of Cyberpunk 2077. You can read the full list below.

  • Weapon without the presence of violence
  • Moderate or suggestive use of illegal drugs
  • Weapons with the presence of violence
  • Crime without violence
  • Description of the consumption of illegal drugs
  • Derogative language
  • Verbal aggression
  • Acts of violence
  • Sexual pleasure
  • Description of the violence
  • Exposure to danger
  • View of dead bodies
  • Wounds on the body
  • Bad language
  • Sexual allusions
  • Blood
  • Description of the consumption or trafficking of illegal drugs
  • Sexualization
  • Sexual abuse
  • Deliberately induced death
  • Nudity
  • Prostitution
  • Sexual relations
  • Consumption of illegal drugs
  • Mutilation
  • Intense sexual relations
  • Suicide
  • Cruelty
  • In short, to say that the latest CD Projekt RED work will be a game for an adult audience is like saying nothing. It seems that we should expect production literally bristling with controversial and heavy motives. Is it good or bad? Everyone has to answer this question for themselves, but a lot will certainly depend on how this type of content is presented.

We would like to remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 will debut on September 17 this year on PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will be available in the full Polish language version.

Cyberpunk 2077 | Runs at 60fps more consistently on PS5, better resolution on Xbox Series X

Cyberpunk 2077 test on PS5, Xbox Series S and X

Cyberpunk 2077 it was finally released after so many years and those playing on PS4 and Xbox One were not exactly happy with the game. The basic consoles of the generation feature low resolution, lack of details and erratic frame rates that can drop up to 15 fps.

Digital Foundry recently tested the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S and found that the experience has been greatly improved, although surprisingly different from console to console.

    • CD PROJEKT RED apologizes for performance on PS4 / XB1, promises patches are coming

While Cyberpunk 2077 is running for backward compatibility on PS5 and Xbox Series X, the Microsoft console offers a few more options. On PS5, you’re stuck with the PS4 Pro’s settings and resolution, which peaks at 1188p. On the Xbox Series X, you can choose between Performance mode, which is 1080p / 60fps, and Quality mode, which runs between 1512p and 1728p and adds a little more visual brilliance, including greater crowd density, ambient occlusion and reflections more detailed, all at 30fps.

In terms of performance, the PS5 maintains very stable 60fps, with occasional drops to the 50s while driving. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series X’s performance mode fights more than the PS5, dropping to 40fps during more frantic shootings. As for the XSX’s quality mode, it appears to be locked at 30fps.

The Xbox Series S, the least powerful console from Microsoft, offers only one visual mode, although it appears to carry most of its graphics settings from the X quality mode. The Series S works with a maximum resolution of 1296p and 30fps almost blocked, although you experience some occasional drops in the mid 20fps.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and can be played on Xbox Series X / S and PS5 for backward compatibility.

Cyberpunk 2077 bigger than Lord of the Rings. 466 hours of dialogue in different languages

    IN LETTER:

  • Cyberpunk 2077 has 73,789 dialogue lines which consist of 2,661,122 characters with no spaces or 590,480 words;
  • it means that in terms of volume, CD Projekt RED’s production is higher from Lord of the Rings.
  • The guide that was sent to the reviewers of Cyberpunk 2077 reveals a lot of numbers related to the game scenario. It turns out that if you counted the number of words in the latest CD Projekt RED production, then it would be bigger than many books – including the famous fantasy series Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien.

In the English version of Cyberpunk 2077 we will find a total of 73 789 dialogue lines (of which 7959 are player-selected lines). This translates to 2,661,122 characters with no spaces and 590,480 words. For comparison, the entire series of The Lord of the Rings in combination with the Hobbit preceding it, i.e. back and forth, consists of 576,459 words. In turn, Atlas of the rebellious writer Ayn Rand has 561,996 words.

It is worth noting that the Polish production is less impressive compared to, for example, Red Dead Redemption 2 – developers from Rockstar Games once informed that more than half a million lines of dialogue.

It should also be added that dialogue issues in Cyberpunk 2077 they are often different in the case of the male and female versions of V, and in such situations they are counted separately. However, due to the fact that we are talking about the English edition, there are not as many differences of this type as it might seem (there would be more of them in Polish, which results directly from the specificity of our speech).

Interestingly, if you wanted to listen to all the dialogues in the game in each of the available languages, it would take – a trifle – 466 hours. But it’s probably better to just play.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Reputation: how to get Reputation and maximum Reputation level

The Reputation in Cyberpunk 2077 It’s a second progress bar separate from your character’s level, which is almost as important as getting attribute points or increasing your stats, as it opens up many new opportunities in Night City.

Reputation allows you to access new Jobs in Night City, which are the missions that the Fixers give you. The higher your level, the more missions you have available. You will also receive certain benefits in stores after reaching certain levels.

Also, if you want to complete 100% of Cyberpunk 2077, you will have to climb to the maximum to get the achievement / trophy ‘Legend of Afterlife’.

On this page we explain everything you need to know about Reputation, including how to get Reputation easy and fast, the maximum Reputation level and what tasks are you interested in completing to level up in this dystopian future.

On this page you will find:

Cyberpunk 2077, the new RPG from CD Projekt RED (The Witcher 3), is here! We have everything you need on your Night City trip, we have the list of all the main missions and guides on how to level up fast, how to get Easy Money and how to increase your Reputation.

We answer questions like who you can have romances and relationships with (we leave you a guide to Judy’s romance), how long the history of Cyberpunk 2077 lasts and how to get all the endings.

Get all the collectibles with our Tarot graffiti guide and look like Keanu Reeves getting Johnny Silverhand’s items.

On the technical level, we have prepared a guide for you on the best configuration on PC and what are the technical requirements of Cyberpunk 2077 on PC.

Reputation: how it works and how to get Reputation in Cyberpunk 2077

Reputation works separately from the level system of V. It also has its own XP, but it is obtained differently. You will get it mainly from the Commissions, jobs with their own category that the Fixers will give you, the characters who look for mercenaries to do jobs.

Similarly, you can also help the NCPD stop crimes around Night City. They have their own markers on the map, as well as unique objectives.

Lastly, don’t forget to take a look at the enemies that have a bounty on their heads. When you perform a scan you will see the description with your NCPD database, including how much Reputation you will earn.

How to increase your Reputation in Cyberpunk 2077

Now that you know the basics about Reputation, it is important to know when to perform Assignments. Cyberpunk 2077 is a huge game, and depending on your style of play, you may want to experience everything it has to offer.

Completing Assignments may not seem like a priority at first, but they are important for making vendor benefits and therefore better equipment for your character.

These are the ways to increase your Reputation:

Follow the Main Story – The Main Story Missions will take you to new areas, hideouts and enemy bases, so you will face a few enemies with a price on their heads. You will likely gain a certain level during these missions, so you will not be wasting your time doing them, quite the opposite.

Complete Orders – These quick encounters appear on the map and you can complete them at your own pace. They may consist of rescuing a certain character from a lair or eliminating a group of enemies to retrieve a certain item.

Complete NCPD crimes – They are usually short, so we recommend you overcome these encounters on the way to other missions. It’s a good way to gain edis and experience, although helping the police is not exactly the most punk thing you can do.

Eliminate enemies in Search and Capture – You decide if you incapacitate or kill them, because they are found dead or alive, but you should keep an eye on these enemies during missions and walking through the streets.

How to get Reputation fast in Cyberpunk 2077

There’s no turning back: the fastest way to earn Reputation XP in Cyberpunk 2077 is by completing City Assignments.

The good part is that there are many and they are everywhere, and most will appear to you simply traveling from one main mission to another. The key is to get the most out of your trips: if you go to a new district, it may be worth stopping halfway and marking an Order on the GPS.

Also, remember that you can see all your Orders from the Journal at any time.

You may only have to spend a couple of minutes on them, as they are not usually very long. More complicated Orders will ask you to get a specific item that you can then drop off at any deposit machine (you’ll see a secondary message next to the sell option).

Luckily, there is always one near the mission location, and it will be marked on the map so you can zoom in with your GPS. In others you will have to convince a person to accompany you, but you can always incapacitate them.

We also recommend looking for enemies in Search and Capture in the streets. It is easy to find them in groups or participating in kidnappings (you will see a blue star on the minimap).

If you’re not sure, an easy way to find people with bounties on their heads is to look for green circles on your minimap. Use the scanner to see what you’re up against and then go for them.

What is the maximum Reputation level in Cyberpunk 2077 and Reputation level rewards

The maximum Reputation level in Cyberpunk 2077 is 50.

You will receive Reputation rewards based on your level, marked as milestones in the Stats menu within Character. Instead of gaining perks to unlock new abilities, certain levels will open up new possibilities for V to obtain new clothing or cyberware.

Additionally, new Commissions will appear in all districts when you reach specific levels, increasing your chances of leveling up.

    These are all the rewards:

Tier 6: Weapon vendors will have new weapons for sale
Level 12: Clothing stores will have more items available to buy
Level 14: Clothing stores will have more items available to buy
Level 20: The Matasanos will sell you new cyberware

People will keep disappearing if you scare them, but with this Cyberpunk 2077 mod you ensure a greater variety of NPCs and smoother traffic

A game with such a massive audience as Cyberpunk 2077 invites all kinds of situations. With so many people playing the probability that errors will occur is greater. Although it does not seem that many people have to play for these to come out.

While they aren’t exactly bugs, a lot of people are bothered the little variety of NPC that can be seen on the streets of Night City. Further, city traffic doesn’t seem to be the most fluid either, with traffic jams the usual routine.

Suffer no more. The modding community has once again arrived to save the day. The user TemplarGFX Nexusmods, has created a tool that allows us to improve both aspects and that you can download through this link. As the description says, “I found a way to make the world feel a little more dynamic“.

One of the changes that incorporates the mod called “Alternate Crowd Behavior and other tweaks“, is the possibility of adapting the reappearance time of passersby. Fast, slow or predetermined mode, the latter two being the ones that allow us to maintain the feeling of realism when we turn around and see that not the entire street has changed in appearance .

Of course, the traffic can also be varied. With the upgrade, more vehicles on the road, more parked cars and more precise driving controls. TemplarGFX acknowledges that it cannot truly restructure bugs of this type in Cyberpunk 2077, but it does fix these shortcomings as much as possible.

Finally, modifications are also included for the enemy AI. All these variables can suppose a cost of FPS for your systems, keep it in mind. Of course, the bug that makes crowds disappear as soon as you scare them is still there, so better not be scared if you suddenly find yourself in a deserted street.

Yesterday we showed you another mod for CD Project game which consists of the possibility of changing V’s face at any time during the game. We were also recently able to find out the time it takes to traverse the Cyberpunk 2077 map through various methods.

19 things about Cyberpunk 2077 I wish I had known before I started playing

It’s funny how Cyberpunk 2077 offers a false sense of simplicity during the first bars of the adventure. However, it does not take long to understand that the decisions you have made may not be the best, so to prevent you from falling into it we have prepared this beginner’s guide.

Here we show you 19 things I wish I had known before starting to play Cyberpunk 2077. Basic tips that, no spoilers Beyond talking about specific mechanics, they will allow you to approach the game in a much more comfortable way.

A first game in which to play without fear

Before continuing, a piece of advice dedicated to those who do not want to go any further and prefer to arrive at the game with all the surprises intact. Simply play the story, aim for the main campaign and keep going until the end of it. It’s the best way to understand the ins and outs of the game and prepare for the next step.

And a second in which to specialize

With all the basics you have already learned during that first game, now comes the good one, the one in which you stop to do side missions, assignments and try to target get all possible endings with the perfect character for that task.

Don’t obsess over the initial choice

At first you will be given the option to choose your origin, but beyond a few lines of dialogue and a different prologue, the choice will not change the course of your adventure. Aim for the one that best suits your tastes and don’t give it too much thought your choice.

Decide what type of character you want

Mark very well what type of character you want to create is essential to be able to exploit your possibilities to the maximum. Do you want to go stealthily and without causing deaths? Clean shot? To punches and blows? Making use of hacks? Each specialty has a good number of options and the skill tree points are not infinite, so better focus on the option that most catches your attention and stick with it.

    Try all weapons

When it comes to improving your weapons skills, the game will separate all of them into different groups. You have the one with the shotguns, the one with the rifles and submachine guns, the one with the sniper rifles or even the one with the pistols. It normally includes two groups of weaponsso try them all to see which one suits your style best.

Open the map to carry out missions and orders

It’s easy to fall into the loop of jumping from mission to mission because of the flashiness of its history, but take some time to see what’s around you. Most isolated missions are simple encounters that you can air in a handful of minutes and the extra pay which they suppose is worth it.

Don’t get obsessed with changing weapons

You will constantly receive better weapons and armor items than you already have. Taking the leap is eye-catching, but in the long run you can find yourself constantly checking your inventory and it can get tiresome. The changes are not so radical, so if a gun you like, keep it or try to improve it instead of releasing it at the first change.

Spend time visiting two or three matasanos

Cyber implant enhancements can make a big change in game mechanics, from slowing down time in gunfights to berserker mode. Visit two or three nearby matasanos to see what they have and remember the price of upgrades that interest you.

Save as much as you can

Upgrades are expensive. Very expensive in some cases. The idea of spending money on clothes or weapons may sound good at first, but I assure you that you will regret it as soon as you find something better on the ground after taking down an enemy. Save as much as you can. Seriously, do it.

Attentive to the requirements of certain missions

Some side missions commissioned by the Fixer will have an additional objective such as clearing it without being discovered or without killing anyone. Try to complete them because the additional pay involved in overcoming them with those conditions is usually very generous.

The secondary ones are not for decoration

Some secondary arcs may seem boring if you don’t commune with certain characters too much, but I advise you to give them a chance because the change they can make in the final crossroads well deserves it. Spend time with everyone until the game informs you that this arc has ended.

    Prey all you can

You never know what you are going to find behind a room full of pieces of food and, although it can be tiresome to loot everything you find, when the time comes to sell it or take it apart you will be grateful for having turned your character into the antithesis of Diogenes.

On the creative or business side

Following in the same trail, decide if you are going to opt for create your own weapons or what you want is make money. If you choose the former, disassemble everything you get and, if you don’t want to complicate your life, sell everything you have and don’t need. Warning to sailors, starting with one decision and continuing with another can cause your pockets to fill with objects or money that you will never use.

    Hack everything you can

The skill tree It grows based on the actions you take and, even if you opt for stealth and don’t use hacking on a regular basis, going to it costs a button hit and the points obtained for each action you take can come in handy in the future.

    You can skip the time

If you want to follow a story arc and the latest news you have about that character is that he will call you, skip the time from the pause menu to skip 24 hourss in the future. When you exit the pause menu the first thing you will receive is your call.

    Get some cyber legs

Have a jump overloaded or a double jump is a much more useful option than it may seem in the first few hours. Get some improved legs as soon as possible because you will get a lot out of them when exploring or finding alternative paths.

    Save often

You never know when you are going to make a decision that you may regret or make a mistake when facing a mission that you would like to correct. There are also certain times when checkpoints are not too generous and go to a game of quick save instead of a checkpoint it’s half life.

    Take advantage of the scanner

Whether to mark enemies, perform hacks or find what loot is in sight. The scanner is one of the most useful features in the game, so use it whenever you have the chance. It will save you more of a scare or unnecessary walk in search of objects.

Take it with all the calm in the world

Finally, the best advice of all, enjoy everything you can from Cyberpunk 2077. Unfortunately, it is one of those games that comes to an end sooner than you would like, so play it with all the calm in the world and try to squeeze all its possibilities, which are not few.

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Linux is possible and you only need these two things

I am the one who never tires of saying that gaming on Linux is not what it used to be. And it is that in a very short time since Valve launched Proton and Steam Play, the panorama of video games in the penguin system has completely changed.

So much so that the last definitive example of what relatively easy to play anything on Linux nowadays, is that Cyberpunk 2077, the triple A game of the moment (for more than one reason) that was created only for Windows, can already be played on Linux, and you only need a couple of requirements:

Cyberpunk 2077: better on Arch Linux or derivatives

Although Cyberpunk is a game only for Windows, this is not an impediment for this or almost any other game in the same circumstances it can be played in Lunux thanks to Proton, the Wine-based compatibility layer that Steam uses so that we can play games Windows on Linux.

Valve just updated Proton to version 5.13-4 and in the notes they added to the release they comment that Cyberpunk 2077 is now playable and it only requires an AMD GPU and Mesa Git.

However, some users seem to have made it work even with an Nvidia GPU as long as they have the 455.45.01 driver, so the most important thing here is install the mesa-git package.

If you don’t know what Mesa is, it is an open source graphics library that provides a generic OpenGL implementation for rendering 3D graphics, and that allows us to play high-level games that require things like Vulkan and OpenGL.

Now the only popular distro that includes Mesa git in their repositories is Arch Linux or derivatives like Manjaro and KaOS, so installing it is as simple as using the AUR repositories. In fact, mesa-git / lib32-mesa-git is already in the Manjaro repositories.

So basically you need a distro where you can install Mesa, preferably an AMD graphics, buy the game on Steam, update the client to have the latest version of Proton, and of course, meet the minimum hardware requirements. In the video above of the user who managed to run the game, * this * remains about 30FPS with medium graphic quality and an RTX 2060 M **. Not so bad.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Adam Smasher boss fight explained

There are a number of slightly tougher opponents in Cyberpunk 2077, but only one of them is the real, clear boss: Adam Smasher. So that you don’t end up like Johnny Silverhand, we have the big boss fight Cyberpunk 2077 against Adam Smasher in all details. And yes, it’s a silly name. But that doesn’t change anything about Smasher’s clout.

    Stages of struggle

There are two phases of combat that follow each other as you continue to dismantle Smasher:

Phase 1: Smasher is still completely intact and is looking for hand-to-hand combat with you if he is not just letting the ball storm down on you.

Phase 2: You have damaged it so far that its right side is almost unusable. Smasher is now calling more fighters and using missiles.

Final phase (no longer a real combat phase): Smasher is practically on the ground, can no longer move. You just have to decide here whether you want to let him live or give the rest.

The pure stealth tactic against Adam Smasher

The fight against Smasher seems unfair for pure stealth vs, but if you have the appropriate skills and quick hacks – above all the optical restart is essential for this fight – then this can be one of the best variations. You have to hide and remain invisible until Smasher has “forgotten” you, that is, his attention is yellow. This can be done by starting the optics restart and then using this window to hide. Then sneak in for a stealth attack. The damage is so great that the next phase of the fight begins. In the second round it is more difficult for Smasher to call for reinforcements and it is easier for you to be spotted. So it can be helpful to first switch off these annoying companions, then restart Smashers Optik and then start the experiment. If you are good at hiding as well as at hacking, then you can hack it from your hiding place with cyberware disruption. This causes so much damage that the next phase begins.

Attacks by Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077

In Phase 1, Adam Smasher basically has three attacks. The first is a melee strike sequence that will knock you through half the room and do a lot of damage if you don’t evade. But if you dodge to the side, then you have a good chance of a counterattack as soon as he takes the final blow. His second attack is the bullet storm: He stops, points his arm cannon at you and shoots nonstop as much as it can. These bullets even eat their way through cover, so if your cover starts to crumble, you’ll need to switch quickly, even if that means you will take some damage. Better than standing still. His third attack is your best chance for a serious counterattack: His jump attack is clearly visible and as soon as he starts, you run. It doesn’t matter where, in any case away from his landing site, which is always where you were just a moment ago. When you have escaped him and the pressure wave, you turn around to him. Smasher kneels a little now and you stick with everything you have.

In phase 2 Adam Smasher calls for help and there are some very fast cyborg ninja and heavy fighters. Try to do this quick one by moving between the covers, as Smasher and his friends can get uncomfortable at the same time. Use the Pink Quickhack to see who is where. Meanwhile, Smasher uses his rocket launcher. As soon as you see red rings appear on the ground around you, you start running, because a second later guessing starts there. That is also his main attack, otherwise he will often run away and only shoot you half-heartedly. Evade and fire back, because that’s your chance for good damage.

Adam Smasher: weaknesses and helpful quickhacks

At first Adam Smasher doesn’t seem to have a real weak point, nothing really does harm. But always keep an eye on his chest, the one underneath his cyber heart beats. You just have to blast away the metal plate in front of it, then every hit here really hurts him.

It’s even better if you use tech weapons. These ignore part of the armor and hit his heart directly. Or other organs, they definitely do more damage. In phase 2 you can use it to shoot through cover and clear up the called help faster.

With grenades you should use chemicals or splinters, both cause a lot of damage to Smasher. Throw a few if, for example, he has just made his jump and is briefly motionless.

    Important quickhacks:

    • Gun Glitch: This takes the bite out of the ball storm.
    • Remote Activation: This allows you to move the covers when fighting in Mikoshi. You can also take over the guns in Mikoshi.
    • Cyberware Disruption: The Killer Move. If your V can do what requires very high hacking values and takes a long time, then it hits so hard that the next phase starts.
    • Ping (phase 2): With a ping you can see where the reinforcement is.
    • Cyber psychosis (phase 2): Smasher may be immune to it, but his helpers are not.

    Should you kill Adam Smasher?

Then when you have Smasher on your knees, you can decide if that was it and just walk away or if you give him the last bullet. It is entirely up to you and has no effect on either end. Even Johnny doesn’t take it too personally if you spare his old adversary.

How it continues then depends on where you came from:

Scan the direction in which the antenna is pointing and a little further down the street you will see an antenna through the scan – otherwise rather not. This is your goal and will also be marked on the map.

But first speak to Elizabeth again below. Then you leave the apartment as you came. The surveillance vehicle is a little way down the street in the north-west direction and then around the corner. Now save once.

Then just follow the marker. Don’t run there, because you’ll need a car or motorcycle on site. When you arrive you break through the gate and as soon as you approach, the reception van breaks down hectic tents and starts heating. Follow it and definitely stay tuned. If you lose it … well, that’s what you saved for. You follow the car to the North Side and come to a factory. You have to get to the van now. If you don’t want to simply rivet his guardians – Maelstroms – then go around the corner to the right in front of the watchtower and climb up there to move along the wall to a door into the house. Hacked the camera on the left then sneaks on and up the stairs on the left. Two Maelstroms are waiting behind the door, which you quietly take care of, then open the shutters on the right in the hallway with a hack and jump down to the van. Connect on the left side of the van and you get the secret further on. Sneak out or fight your way outside, then call Elizabeth. You meet at a ramen shop. Go there and talk to her. Finally you meet Jefferson. You must now decide whether he should know the truth. Your further action has no direct impact, so decide how you want it. Then the mission is over. Who knows, you might hear from the Peralez again.

Is Cyberpunk 2077 already playable on PS4/Xbox One?

Cyberpunk 2077 hit the market just over four months ago in a virtually unplayable state. At least, that’s the case for the console version (specifically the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). Time to see if all the patches since then ensure that Cyberpunk 2077 is playable on PS4 and Xbox One.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now known as the game that was so broken upon release that Sony removed the game from the PlayStation Store. The title was simply unplayable on the PS4 and the situation was not much better on the Xbox One. Players on next-gen consoles also faced significant problems, although the hardware of the new machines did run the game a bit better.

    • Get Cyberpunk 2077 here at bol.com for 37.99 euros!

There were also major problems on the PC, unless you had an extremely good gaming setup. It is now four months later and CD Projekt RED has released the first two updates. Add to that quite a few hotfixes and other patches and you may have downloaded an additional 100 GB of updates. The key question remains: Is Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One finally playable?

    Problems under scrutiny

To see whether the game is playable, we first have to know which unplayable hell the game came from. For example, on consoles, specifically PS4 and Xbox One, faces were rendered poorly. These only showed up a few seconds after the rest of the world, so you were, as it were, staring at pixelated dolls.

The game’s performance in general was deeply sad. The image constantly froze, the world of Night City loaded poorly and so sometimes you didn’t even see what exactly you were doing. In addition, the AI was also extremely bad. This person sometimes did not show up, did not respond or accidentally came out of nowhere to arrest you.

The Polish studio denied all these problems in the first weeks after launch. The game was deemed playable, something the studio later reconsidered. A good thing too, because slowly but surely Cyberpunk 2077 is finally being made.

    Is the game playable now?

The short answer is simple: yes, the game is now more playable. With patches 1.1 and 1.2 (and the recent 1.21 hotfix), some things have been overhauled and improved. Patch 1.2 removed hundreds of bugs from the game, while the first patch already brought better stability, making the game crash less often.

In patch 1.2, the most notable improvements include improved AI for police officers. They no longer appear out of nowhere to arrest you. In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One is now simply a lot more fun to play. Although the frame rate is not at 60 as on next-gen consoles and PC, it is already closer to the intended 30 frames per second. There are therefore a lot fewer glitches.

In addition, the menus are a lot faster, while the lighting of the game has also been greatly improved. Charging also works a lot better and the game generally responds faster to your actions. Finally, most of the problems with quests have also been resolved, so you can simply complete the game.

Not back to Night City yet

However, it is not yet recommended for everyone to return to Night City. Unfortunately, many players on Reddit, among others, report that they are still experiencing a lot of problems. The performance on the older consoles would still be substandard.

While the game tries to achieve 30 fps, the game still regularly dips below 20. In addition, this is still a problem according to some players. Both problems mainly arise when you drive through Night City, because the game suddenly has to load a lot of data very quickly and apparently does not know how to do this properly. Glitches are also still being reported, but a lot fewer than with the release in 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One improvements are not finished yet

However, CD Projekt RED is far from finished updating Cyberpunk 2077. It was promised that the game would receive numerous updates throughout the year to take the game to a better level. It is therefore impossible to say how long it will take for the game to be in optimal condition. It is clear that you certainly play the game better now, but it is still not optimal.

If you really don’t want to wait any longer to play Cyberpunk 2077, there are fortunately a few options. The PS5 and Xbox Series Alternatively, you can choose the PC version, provided you have a high-end PC, or you can choose the Google Stadia version. The latter can be played in 4K 60 fps on both the TV and your PC without the need for heavy hardware. According to the undersigned, the game remains a painful miracle.

AMD raises its head and confirms more games for its new FSR 3.0 with Cyberpunk 2077 as a great bulwark

A little less than a week ago we told you that AMD would debut FSR 3.0 in two of the worst rated Triple-A games of 2023. The news, of course, left no one indifferent. Fortunately, It didn’t take long for him to react, because they have just confirmed the next games in which they will include their new optimization technology. Most of them have a significant reputation and/or are relatively expected by users.

In this way, FSR 3.0 will reach several very interesting titles. It is strange, yes, that they have not yet said anything about Starfield, since the brand closed an exclusivity agreement with Bethesda leaving NVIDIA out of the equation at the request of the developer itself. It is certainly something strange, although we understand that they will announce it shortly.

AMD will add FSR 3.0 to Cyberpunk 2077, among other games

Be that as it may, it goes little by little. With its latest announcement, AMD has confirmed that FSR 3.0 will be implemented in the following games:

    • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
    • Black Myth: Wukong
    • crimson desert
    • cyberpunk 2077
    • frostpunk 2
    • Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2
    • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

The first three will arrive in 2024So it made sense for FSR 3.0 to be available from day one. For its part, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released shortly, so we don’t know what to expect, but it is quite possible that it will land on PC with AMD technology due to another agreement with Ubisoft. In the others, it is expected to be implemented gradually.

Finally, we hope that —little by little— the company will give new names, since, although the list begins to be more interesting, a greater effort is required to have a real impact in the long term. Definitely, Starfield is one of the most important in that sense, but we can’t do much more; have to wait.

Cyberpunk 2077 trophies will not transfer from the PS4 version to the PS5 version

The good news yesterday afternoon was that the current-gen upgrade of Cyberpunk 2077 was finally ready after much delay and made available immediately. All current owners of the game can upgrade to the current-gen version for free, but this comes with a small snag.

If you want to continue playing the game you will not be able to get all Trophies in the continuation. If you start the PS5 version, the game will not immediately unlock all already unlocked Trophies. So you will have to start over anyway to achieve everything.

According to CD Projekt RED, this is due to the fact that the PS5 version is a different SKU, so it is not possible to transfer the Trophies. It is good news for the Trophy hunters, because they can go for the platinum again.

“Unfortunately, as the next-gen version has a different SKU, PlayStation trophies obtained thanks to backward compatibility will not be transferred. You will need to meet the requirements once again to unlock them.”

Get Cyberpunk 2077 now for bottom price!

For a long time it was not advisable to buy Cyberpunk 2077. But in the meantime the game has been considerably refined and you might consider diving into it. In that case, we have good news: you can now buy the game for a fairly low price.

To say that Cyberpunk 2077 was controversial upon release is perhaps an understatement. The game was so full of bugs that it was even removed from the PlayStation Store. But in the meantime CD Projekt RED has fine-tuned the game.

It is also important that the next-gen version for PS5 and Xbox Series X is finally available. This brings the necessary improvements. Is it finally time to play the good game that was hiding under all the technical flaws?

Buy Cyberpunk 2077 for a bargain price

If you actually want to try Cyberpunk 2077, you can make your move now. The PS4 version of the game is on offer for only 24.99 euros at Amazon. You have to pay a little more for the Xbox One version, but 30.05 euros is still a reasonable price.

    • Get Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation for just $24.99
    • Or score the game on Xbox for 30.05 euros

Of course, we just said that ideally you should get the game right for the newer console. Do you have any use for the last-gen offer? Yes, because like many games, the upgrade for the new consoles is completely free, so you can score the game for these low prices and still get started on PS5 or Xbox Series X.

If you still have your doubts about Cyberpunk, there are other games you can consider. You can also score Horizon Forbidden West for a bargain price, for example, and there are many PS5 deals at MediaMarkt. If you have not yet obtained the PS5 yourself, you have a chance again this week in a draw from Coolblue.
