XDefiant has an open beta this week, although you have a very limited time to participate. Here are all the details

XDefiant, Ubisoft’s new competitive game, has announced a new testing phase open beta for this same week; which is great because previous versions operated only under registration and not all of them took place in Europe. If you want to play, you have a chance this week, although it will only last a few hours; so it’s a good idea to preload beforehand.

XDefiant beta date and time

  • September 28 21:00 – September 29 3:00
  • Mainland Spain time
  • Preload available from September 26
  • Preseason content available
  • Platform: PC (global)

According to those responsible, the content of the PTS is not subject to Confidentiality agreementsso if it doesn’t suit you to play for whatever reason, at least you can see videos or live broadcasts of the game. “When available, these sessions will serve as a platform for us to experiment with new features and configurations throughout the year, where we can gather your valuable impressions before launching them in the following season,” reads the official XDefiant website.

In case you weren’t up to date, XDefiant has become a new obsession for Call of Duty enthusiasts: thanks to its mobility and sensations of control, at the moment the game is well on its way in terms of popularity. It remains to be seen how it will fare in the final version, which will be released for free on PC and next-generation consoles and a roster of characters from different factions and personal abilities.

There are two additional campaigns on the way for Dead Island 2, but the game will also have an extra mode called: Neighborhood Watch. More information about this has now become available.

Thanks to Insider Gaming, we now know that Neighborhood Watch is played with three players. The goal is to protect a safehouse for five in-game days. You have to survive by placing traps, finding weapons and looking for provisions.

You can also earn items by achieving daily goals. These become more difficult every day, but you can also choose to tackle the most difficult goals on day one. Of course, the more difficult the assignment, the stronger the weapons and other rewards you can earn.

It is not yet known when Neighborhood Watch will be added to the game. It is also possible that this mode is included with one of the additional campaigns.

Fairy Tail: Details on the storylines and new characters

The Mages Guild Fairy Tail lands on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PCs next year. After the specific details about the JRPG were rather scarce at the time of the announcement, Koei Tecmo and Gust are now following up.

That’s what the story is about

As is well known, the adventure is created under the supervision of author Hiro Mashima. And so fans are particularly excited about the background story that the video game will offer. According to today’s announcement, the game is based on the Tenrou Island arc, the Grand Magic Games arc and the Tartaros arc, as well as “other episodes from the original canon.”

The game’s plot focuses on the time period roughly halfway through the anime and revolves around the imminent demise of the Fairy Tail guild following the mysterious absence of Natsu’s group. The Guild’s reputation has declined in the years since her supposed death and it is sinking into debt. Luckily, Natsu and his crew of magicians are back and ready to restore Fairy Tail to its glory days by participating in the Grand Magic Games and competing for the top guild.

The story includes Natsu’s storyline as he faces Hades in an action-packed showdown, Erza facing off against swords with Mermaid Heel’s Kagura, and breathtaking battles against the dark guild Tartaros. Additionally, original episodes can be played to increase character bonding while unlocking unique in-game scenes.

These characters await you

You take on the role of Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia and other guild members. These also include the “Iron Dragon Slayer” Gajeel Redfox and the “Rain Woman” Juvia Lockser, as was also announced today. In addition to those mentioned, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet and Wendy Marvell have also been confirmed so far.

During the game, mages accept jobs from the request board at Fairy Tail headquarters. These tasks often lead to combat, requiring characters to coordinate their attacks with other party members. Once the task is completed, players report back to the guild to receive rewards including money, items, and guild fame.

Guild rank varies based on fame, increasing from D to S – the higher the rank, the more challenging the mission, but with it comes greater rewards. Rise up the ranks to tackle the most challenging missions in a bold quest to become the greatest guild in Fiore.

You can see the newly announced characters and more in new screenshots:

Billbil-kun announced last May that WRC 23 would be in stores this summer, but we still haven’t heard anything about it. Now new information has surfaced which he came through Dealabs shares. There is at least a career mode, Time Trial, Championship Mode, Rally School, Clubs and Quick Play Online. There will also be a new mode called ‘Moments’. This one will likely be similar to FIFA 23’s FUT Moments.
