Demon’s Souls – Where to Farm Herbs and Souls: Best Places to Get Herbs and Souls Easy Early and Late Game

Farming in Demon’s Souls it may be necessary in certain parts of the game, either because you need a few souls to repair your gear or level up, or to find the “herbs” you need to restore magic and life.

On this page we indicate some of the best places to farm in Demon’s Souls at the beginning and end of the game to help you on your journey through the cursed kingdom of Boletaria.

Before starting, it is important to note that to grind or farm we recommend that you stay in Soul form, this will prevent accidental deaths in the area from decreasing your Character Trend, with a potential impact on your experience of the rest of the game.

On this page you will find:

A decade after the original From Software, the Demon’s Souls remake comes to PlayStation 5 from Bluepoint. To help you get started in Boletaria, we have guides on which is the best class for beginners, the best sites to farm herbs and souls, how the World and Character Trend works, how to get the best weapons, and where to find Hard Stone.

Where to farm souls and herbs early in the game in Demon’s Souls

One of the best places to farm souls early in the game, in addition to being able to farm Crescent Grass, is in the Knight Tower Archstone, which is accessible as soon as you defeat the boss that gives it its name.

As soon as you are transported here from the Nexus, you will find two Blue-Eyed Knights, and if you are careful you can stab them in the back to win no less than 500 souls of each in Pure White World Trend, and this amount increases if you have one. Minor World Trend.

The two Blue-Eyed Knights will often drop two Crescent Herbs each. Also, if you manage to backstab the second Knight with Blue Eyes at the end of the tunnel, you will face three soldiers armed with crossbows.

Kill them to get about 100 Souls each, and up to two Crescent Herbs each, based on your ‘Luck’ stat. Travel back to the Nexus and back to the Archstone to repeat this as many times as you wish.

This is a very very simple strategy to get Herbs or Souls to level up at the beginning of the game. Blue-Eyed Knights and Crossbowmen also drop Crescent Moon Herbs and Full Moon Herbs, although less often than Crescent.

Where to farm souls and herbs at the end of the game in Demon’s Souls

For this second method of soul farming, we recommend that you get Storm Sovereign and eliminate the King of the Storm. Once you’ve done that, go to the Old Hero Archstone, which you can find to the right of the broken Archstone in the Nexus.

This strategy only works when the game is advanced, but it will allow you to collect a lot of souls in a very short time. As always, you’ll get more souls if you have the Pure Black World Trend, but even the smallest mistake will make it impossible. In any case, we do it in the Pure White World Trend, much easier to achieve.

Once you are in the Old Hero Archstone, equip Storm Sovereign as your primary weapon and go down the path to the right where you will find a bunch of Storm Beasts, each dropping 1,270 souls.

Prepare the Storm Sovereign’s charged attack with R2 to eliminate them in one hit while avoiding their ranged attacks.

We recommend that you equip yourself with the Thief’s Ring, which is obtained near where you found Ostrava in the Boletaria Palace. With this ring it will be more difficult for the Storm Beasts to detect you and you will be able to farm this area more easily.

But be careful, it is not an easy path. The rewards, yes, are measured in tens of thousands of souls, in addition to pieces of Cloud Stone that the Storm Beasts drop.

Again, the Ring of the Thief and Sovereign of the Storm are key to surviving this dangerous route, so be sure to get the Ring of the Thief from the Palace of Boletaria and Sovereign of the Storm when you fight the King of the Storm for the first time. .

Sovereign of the Storm weighs 6.0 so make sure you have enough space available to pick it up.

Valheim early access – When is the 1.0 release?

There is currently no game bigger than Valheim, the new multiplayer survival game. The early access title has already sold more than 5 million copies, while the game is only available on PC via Steam. The game does not have an official release yet, so it is time to see when the Valheim early access period is over.

Valheim is a new survival multiplayer game in which players can trudge through the Norwegian empire alone or with a group of up to ten players. The world is different for every group of players as you battle all kinds of deadly monstrosities and build your own playing world. What is striking is that the game is still available in Steam Early Access.

When does Valheim leave Steam Early Access?

Officially, developer Iron Gate AB has not yet announced a release date for the official release of Valheim. The only thing that is clear is that the Valheim Early Access period on Steam will last at least a year. Since the game was released on February 2, 2021, we no longer have to count on a release this year.

The earliest version 1.0 will be released is February 2, 2022, but that is also uncertain. In an FAQ on Steam, Iron Gate AB shared some details. In it, the developer states that the game may be in development for even longer, depending on player feedback. It also depends on the many features that the developer wants to include in the game.

No 1.0 release, but new content

However, you do not have to worry that the official release is not yet taking place. The studio behind the title seems to simply bring new content on a monthly basis. There have already been many bug fixes. It’s a good sign of steady progress.

However, we will ultimately have to wait a while for an official release. No one knows yet when that will come. At least we know it’s not coming anytime soon. After all, 2021 is out of the question.

Everything about Valheim

Are you curious why Valheim is so popular or are you looking for cheats for the game? Then don’t stress, because we have both available for you. We also have a guide with tips and tricks for you. You can also visit our wiki of the game here.

Prey 2: Neuroshock Leaked Early?

The original Prey came out in 2017 and as you could read here, we really appreciated the game. We haven’t heard much from the series since then, aside from expansions, but a second game may be in development. This is reported on 4Chan.

Now that is far from a reliable source, but every now and then rumors are shared there that later turn out to be correct. The same message states that the game will be released a year after Redfall, as Arkane currently focuses on that.

It also says that the game will probably be announced at The Game Awards and that the title will be ‘Prey 2: Neuroshock’. The game would likely be shorter than its predecessor and would follow a Deus Ex-like structure. We will soon know whether all this is correct, because The Game Awards will take place on December 9th.

Nevertheless, take it with a hefty load of salt.

Palworld: The “Grown-Up Pokemon” goes into Early Access on Steam in January

Even Geoff Keighley made the comparison between in his Summer Game Fest 2023 Showcase Palworld and a Pokémon with Guns. That’s when you knew that so many Nintendo games probably wouldn’t be part of the show anymore.

But it was Palworld that presented us with the early access start at the end of a new trailer. In January 2024, Steam Early Access is scheduled to begin and a “large amount of content” is being prepared for it. There was no talk today of the Xbox version announced at the Tokyo Game Show.

Collect, explore and breed – these are the ingredients for a fun monster collecting game. But Palworld is also about survival. Farming is not always enough. Firearm use is an integral part.

Poaching and crime are listed as gameplay features. It’s illegal, but only “if you get caught”. A big playground, then – but when it came to monster design, people weren’t always that imaginative. Some pals seem like a spitting image of their role models.
