And if you were thinking that this generation was going to be different, everything seems to indicate that we will continue with a new chapter in this worrying story.

The theory sounds great, but in practice we are talking about a system that is not performing very well in daily use, and it is something that users continue to suffer from today.

The decision about Sanji in the Spanish dubbing of the One Piece live action that has completely divided the community. Taz Skylar’s Big Problem Isn’t His Accent

It turns out that for the dubbing of Sanji in Spanish and Castilianthe voice actor chosen to playTaz Skylar has been Taz Skylar himself. You may not know him, but the actor is of Canarian origin, so everything points to Netflix letting him dub himself in the Spanish versions of the series, just like Iñaki Godoy does with the Latin American dubbing.

The result, unfortunately, doesn’t quite fit in with the rest of the voice actors, since unlike the other characters, it seems that his dubbing was done in a completely different place where the audio quality is inferior. This, as expected, has not entirely convinced many fans, although there are also a fair number of them who are in favor of Skylar as Sanji’s voice actor.

While it is true that One Piece has become one of the most entertaining series of the year on Netflix, it is also necessary to recognize the mistake that Spanish-speaking distributors have made in this decision, since a professional voice actor he would have fit the dubbed versions of the character much better.

Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader: The biggest problem is called Baldur’s Gate 3


At the beginning of June I was able to take a very detailed look at Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Traders throw, the new RPG from the Pathfinder developers. The beta already offered a lot of content back then, but there is still more to come: On the gamescom in Cologne, Owlcat Games showed me a fight that takes place in the endgame of the roleplaying game.

After around 80 hours of play, the group of six characters is already well equipped and, thanks to a few level ups, already has a number of skills. This is also particularly important because the following fight that the devs show me is by no means trivial.

Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader – Every move counts

Rogue Trader bets differently than that Pathfinder-Games, on a complete turn-based combat system – Baldur’s Gate 3 sends regards. The classic RTwP has apparently had its day in Owlcat as well. Nonetheless, the fight against a couple of Necron enemies that the developers bring to me shows classic strengths: there’s a lot at stake tactics, the skills must be used well. Above all, defensive buffs are important, because attacks by the powerful Necron units really hurt, as was impressively demonstrated to me shortly afterwards.

Although the developers are already inflicting a lot of damage on an opponent with Marazhai, a capable melee fighter, among others, it is far from over. On his turn, however, the Necron ignores the stabbing fighter and instead shoots at a support, who goes down completely after just two hits. Especially mean: There is no revive during battle. As soon as a character’s life points are at 0, he remains dead for the rest of the fight. As the developers tell me, there are only a few isolated buffs that can prevent a deathblow once.

Otherwise, it also shows in the later battles of Rogue Trader that the role-playing game in terms of presentation and optics can’t compete with a Baldur’s Gate 3, but definitely has its own strengths. They are mainly in the tactics, because if you don’t diligently use your skills and attacks correctly, you will quickly run into problems. However, there is no extreme destruction and dynamics of the environment, as known from the Larian games – even if isolated explosion barrels invite to be used offensively.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is the biggest problem

In general, Baldur’s Gate 3 is the most difficult hurdle for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Traders. You can clearly see that Larian was simply in a different budget class here: while you’re in the current role-playing hit, here it goes, by the way to our testfully voiced characters, tons of cutscenes and beautiful visuals, Owlcats Rogue Trader is a hit much more spartan and classic in comparison out of.

There are a few isolated settings, but otherwise there is an obligation read much to have to. Visually, the excursion into the world of Warhammer 40,000 is also on the right track, but cannot keep up with the highly detailed 3D worlds of Baldur’s Gate 3. On the other hand, the combat system has been convincing so far and how the story develops overall can only be shown by the test version at the latest.

But that probably won’t be the case this year. When asked, Owlcat Games told us that the release of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will not take until 2025. But it probably won’t happen again this year. Given Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield and the many other releases in the autumn of games, but that is probably manageable.

SkyShowtime claims to have a problem with rooted Android phones, but the reality is very different


Currently, we have a wide range of services streaming video, for all tastes and pockets. One of the last to arrive has been SkyShowtime, which, like the rest, has some little-known limits.

One of these makes all the logic in the world and refers to the incompatibility with rooted devices, that is, Android phones that are modified to obtain superuser permissions. However, seems a truth not so true because we have been able to access without any problem, and we tell you about the experience.

This is what SkyShowtime says, and this is what happens

Normally, streaming platforms and their mobile applications impose this restriction on devices that have been modified. Because? Well, for security reasons, mostly.

These services contain a multitude of copyrighted content, and therefore must avoid at all costs that users can manipulate them. Actually, it is not easy at all, since root does not give us this function, but with enough knowledge it could happen.

In addition, rooting an Android mobile does allow us to hack applications, bypass payment gateways and other malicious tasks. Hence, they all cover their backs. AND SkyShowtime was not going to be different: If we go to its help page, in the compatible devices section we will see the following message:

What is a rooted device? It is a device in which the operating system has been altered to remove the restrictions imposed by the manufacturer, in order to allow new higher-level features that would not otherwise be available.

The message is clear and resounding, leaving no room for doubt. However, to check we have installed the application on a rooted mobile. Through Magisk we previously obtained access, and then the surprise comes: SkyShowtime works like a charm.

What’s more, apart from being able to use it normally, The rest of the functions continue to work like any other mobile. For example, PiP mode is also operational, giving us the option to keep playback in a small window while using other apps.

The question is that what was said by SkyShowtime it is not fulfilled. As we have seen, watching a series or movie on the new platform is possible even with root. It may be that the developers of the app have not managed to implement root detection, or have put the notice on the web as a preventive method. Of course, remember that modifying your device has some risks, and it is not recommended to do so because we put our privacy at risk.

Be that as it may, they must cover their backs in the event that a user with bad ideas creates a problem for them. And so I would not leave them in a good placeneither to the platform nor to users who with good intentions want to get the most out of their devices.
