Ever since The Legend of Zelda concocted Lost Woods, it’s become something of a right of passage for retro-style games to have a bit where you have to navigate a strange place with changing paths. It’s a rule, there should always be spooky woods that are easy to get lost in. River City Girls 2 upholds that tradition with such a setting of its own. Here’s how to get through Witchy Woods in River Town Girls 2.
How to cross Witchy Woods in River City Girls 2
After saving Marian from her hypnotic curse in Uptown, she asks you to visit the Flatirons Cemetery to find the creepy person who played with her head. To get to the graveyard, however, you’ll first need to navigate Witchy Woods, a mysterious location where you can easily turn around if you don’t know where you’re going.

Each scene in Witchy Woods has multiple exits, but only one of them will actually progress you through the area and towards the exit, while the others will drop you off at another random location.
Witch Woods Trail
Here is the step by step to navigate Witchy Woods and reach the exit:
- From the entrance to Witchy Woods, run all the way to the right and take the exit right next to the green sign.
- Cross the log bridge and take the exit on your right.
- Climb the steps on the right side of the stage, then run to the top left exit.
- Run through the mud to the exit at the bottom left of the stage.
- Run to the left side of the river, then drop down from the ledge to reach the lower level. Don’t try to drop to the right side, or you’ll fall into a very sarcastic pit. Once on the lower level, take the lower right exit.
Congratulations, you have reached the Witchy Woods exit! You can continue to the cemetery through the dilapidated hut a little further. Incidentally, on the fourth stage of this step by step, you can climb the vines and take the exit there to find a challenge where you can get good XP and cash payment, as well as a shop that sells potions with status effect.
