PlayStation 5 games that are confirmed
We are in an age where we are waiting for the PlayStation 5 and their games. The next generation console comes later this year and we have a lot to look forward to.
Among the novelties of the console, one of the main ones, is the new control. Called DualSense, the controller has everything to be something next-gen, bringing features never before seen in one.
Control aims to create “enhanced immersion” experiences through touch and audio through all kinds of innovative features. DualSense features adaptive triggers that let you feel resistance while you fit an arrow to your character’s bow, for example.
Well, the controller will be a separate show and will make the gameplay unique on the console. But in order for DualSense to be used, we need games, and quality games.
With such anticipation, we have compiled a list of games that will arrive on PlayStation 5. In this list, we have exclusive and third party games that have already been confirmed for the next generation.
Horizon Forbidden West
Guerilla brought a brief (but sweeping) demonstration of Horizon Forbidden West to PS5, a beautiful new adventure set in a land ravaged by immense storms.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Ubisoft’s next big game of Assassin’s Creed takes us back to the Viking era. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due to be released as a launch title for the PS5. You play as Eivor – whether male or female – and your travels will take you to various locations and landscapes.
Gran Turismo 7
And Polyphony Digital unveiled Gran Turismo 7 as the Real Driving Simulator prepares for the new generation of PlayStation hardware.
GRAND THEFT AUTO V ENHANCED
Of course, Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PS5. The seven-year-old open-world game has reached virtually all systems, and with Grand Theft Auto Online continuing to live through regular content updates, optimizing the game for a new generation of hardware is nothing new. Rockstar is promising new content for this enhanced edition, but we hope this is something for GTAO, not for the single-player.
Demon’s Souls, an incredible PS5 remake from Bluepoint Studios and Japan Studio.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
The latest adventure in the Spider-Man universe will be about, and will delve into Marvel’s Spider-Man through a whole new story. Players will see Miles Morales rise as he masters new powers to become his own Spider-Man.
The developer of Gears of War is partnering with Square Enix for a new game called Outriders. The game is a shooting game that also encourages you to get out from behind the high walls and destroy your enemies with various cool skills.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is Insomniac Games’ newest intergalactic adventure that features everything you can do with games designed for the ultra-fast SSD of the PS5’s DualSense wireless controller. Players will travel seamlessly across different dimensions almost instantly, in average gameplay, thanks to the PS5’s SSD.
You are the last of the Valorian knights, mythological warriors who manage to equip the legendary Valorplates, armor that transform the bearers into invincible masters of hand-to-hand combat. Players will annihilate enemies as they advance through the elemental realms … We are still working hard and we can’t wait for fans to play Godfall when it comes out on PS5 and, at the end of the year, on PC.
Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2
The sequel to The Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines takes you to Seattle, a lovely city that is overrun by vampires. “In this cult classic sequence, your choices, storylines and schemes will shift the balance of power,” said Paradox of the sequence.
Project Athia is the culmination of our philosophy at Luminous Productions to create completely new and fresh gaming experiences that fuse the latest technologies with art. With PS5, our vision really comes to life and, with WITCH players, we can be transported to a vast and detailed world, full of beauty and despair.
Watch Dogs: Legion
Ubisoft’s new Watch Dogs, Ubisoft Toronto’s Legion and acclaimed director Clint Hocking, is yet another Ubisoft title confirmed for the PS5. It was originally scheduled to arrive in March 2020 for the current generation of consoles, but Ubisoft pushed the game to give developers more time to “ensure that their innovations are seamlessly implemented, in order to offer ideal experiences for players”. Coinciding with the delay, Ubisoft also confirmed that Legion would be released on next generation consoles.
With impressive and elegant environments, memorable combat and the freedom to solve each mission at any pace and using any approach of your choice, this is Arkane as you have never seen (or felt), a creation thinking of the latest generation. Deathloop is being developed for the latest hardware and will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console.
Capcom’s Resident Evil Village
The fear of dark corners has been replaced by anxiety about the unknown, while Ethan searches for answers inside decrepit buildings and among snow-covered trees. The return to first person perspective will bring a visceral aspect to the combat… With a greater focus on combat and exploration compared to Resident Evil 7, the village itself is as important a character as any other: a place with a life of its own. that will often keep you tense to discover your secrets. ”
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released in November for current generation consoles and PCs before the launch of the PS5. CD Projekt Red has not yet officially confirmed a PS5 game edition outside of backward compatibility support.
The PlayStation 5 arrives at the end of 2020.
