Cyberpunk 2077 it is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated and exciting games. The Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2019 trailer with the appearance of Keanu Reeves made pre-orders go up by pre-orders. It was revealed that it will arrive in 2020, something Ubisoft did not like very much.

During a financial conference for investors and analysts, Ubisoft was asked about its competition. The Cyberpunk 2077 release date is April. That puts the game a month before Watch Dogs: Legion arrives.

Of course, they are still concerned about any potential competition. A successful game like Mordhau could appear again from nowhere. But outside of the big AAA, they are definitely moving away from Cyberpunk 2077. Financial director, Frédérik Duguet, replied that it is “good news that Cyberpunk is not in the quarter”.

Looking at the other Ubisoft titles in 2020, if Cyberpunk 2077 was released in the fourth quarter, it would not only be in competition with the Watch Dogs Legion, but also Ubisoft’s other title, Gods and Monsters, due out on February 25. .

Although Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be released in the same quarter, Ubisoft still has some competition in early 2020. Square Enix’s long-awaited Final Fantasy VII remake will hit consoles on March 3, 2020, just three days before Watch Dogs Legion.
