The Champagne House Gosset embodies excellence and audacity through its history and know-how. Founded in 1584, it is the oldest wine house in Champagne. Family-run and independent since its beginnings, Maison Gosset strives to preserve its heritage and experience, which have been part of the history of Champagne for more than four centuries. While preserving this tradition, the company draws its strength from innovation because this old House breathes the air of its time.
The House now produces nearly a million bottles each year, thus tirelessly renewing the production of Great Champagne Wines. Gosset wines are distinguished by their quality, style and taste, which remain unchanged over time. They immutably translate the singularity of the Champagne terroirs and the atypical personality of the House.
Among Gosset’s emblematic vintages, we find “Grande Réserve”, a Champagne made with a subtle blend of Chardonnay (45%), Pinot Noir (45%) and Meunier (10%). This composition offers a palette of powerful and fruity tastes. Next to it, we find “Grand Rosé” which embodies the freshness and straightness of Chardonnay, as well as the fruitiness of the reds of Bouzy and Ambonnay. Also available, Gosset “Grand Blanc de Blancs” which embodies finesse with Chardonnay from terroirs classified Grand Cru, Premier Cru and other villages with assertive typicity.
The House, which is characterized by its originality and its high level of demands, today chooses to highlight what defines Gosset’s inimitable style. With this in mind, it reinterprets its own classics by offering its Great Wines a renewed presentation: subtle and refined.
The historic bottle from 1760 remains unchanged, in the name of tradition. It is in its manufacturing that the centuries-old Maison sought to meet the expectations of the time. It has deliberately chosen an environmentally friendly approach by choosing cutting-edge eco-designed materials, developed in France and in a short supply chain; the whole thing is entirely recyclable.
