Is there actually a money cheat for Hogwarts Legacy? Can you use the cheat engine in Hogwarts Legacy and cheat infinite money with it? Anyone who has already spent an hour or two in the world of the new Harry Potter game will probably have already looked at the offers in the shops in Hogsmeade. In the shops you can buy various useful items such as recipes, ingredients, potions, brooms, magic wands and more. The selection is very large and there are many useful items. If there wasn’t just one problem and that was the price. Many of the items offered are quite expensive, especially in the first few hours of play. In this situation, one or the other player may ask, is there a money cheat for the new Harry Potter game?
Money cheat for Hogwarts Legacy on PC
There are no “official cheats” in Hogwarts Legacy. The developers have not integrated any cheat codes into the game with which you can, for example, cheat yourself with infinite money or activate Godmode at the push of a button. But just because there are no official cheats doesn’t mean you can’t cheat in the game. The first cheat tables with different cheats were published just a few hours after the release. You can activate the cheat tables with the free cheat engine and then use various cheats in the game, including a money cheat.
- Download and install the cheat engine (if you haven’t already).
- The Download cheat table for Hogwarts Legacy and double-click to open it in the cheat engine.
- Use the magnifying glass icon to select and activate the Hogwarts Legacy process.
- Below you can then activate different cheats.
By the way, it is advisable to create an additional save game that you only play without cheats. If something goes wrong when using the cheats, which can happen, you can always reset to the old save without cheats.
Update: The first cheat table for Hogwarts Legacy has been deleted. With the CT file you could use a money cheat. Since there were problems with it, it was removed. There is now another cheat table with similar cheats.
Money cheat on the PS5 or Xbox Series?
The cheat engine is only available for the PC and accordingly you can only use the money cheat described above in the PC version of Hogwarts Legacy. There will probably soon be an option on the console that will allow you to cheat for infinite money if a money glitch is found. With new games, it is usually only a matter of days before the first money glitches appear on YouTube. So far we haven’t been able to find any money glitch for PS5 and Xbox Series players, but that’s likely to change soon.
