To “escape” skill-based matchmaking, you can create a Smurf account, or more precisely a second account, and play with it. But how does that work? In this guide we will show you how to create a second account and play with it in just a few seconds.
Create a second account in Fortnite
If you play Fortnite on your PC, you can easily create a second account. All you have to do is create a second Epic Games account, start the Epic Games Launcher and log out. You can then log in with the second account and start playing directly with the second account.
Create a new Epic Games account via the website (or log in via one of the social logins offered such as Steam or Facebook).
Start the Epic Games Launcher, click on the profile in the top right and select “Log out”.
Log in using the second account using the registration form and start Fortnite.
Second Fortnite account on PS4 or Xbox One?
If you play Fortnite on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series or even Nintendo, you have to create another account on the console. So on the PS4 or PS5 you have to create another PSN account and re-register or select the other user when starting the console. You can then play Fortnite on the console with the second account. Since Fortnite is a free-to-play game, PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold is not required for the second account.
Transfer skins to the second account?
So far there is no way in Fortnite or the Epic Games Launcher to transfer purchases from one account to another account. Accordingly, purchased skins and other objects cannot be transferred to the second account. You may be able to transfer purchased content from one account to another via Support. If you want to do this, you should ask Epic Games support about this.

Cheats for Dead Island 2 on PlayStation or Xbox?
The short answer to the question is, no, there are no cheats in Dead Island 2 on the PlayStation 5 or on the Xbox Series either. The developers have not integrated any classic cheat codes into the game that you can simply type in and activate. But as is often the case in games without “official cheats”, there are various ways in which you can cheat in Dead Island 2, namely through glitches. A glitch exploits a bug in the game and allows you to duplicate a weapon in the game and then sell it, i.e. use it as a money cheat.
Duplicate weapons cheat in Dead Island 2
Just a few days after the release, the first players discovered a glitch that allows you to duplicate weapons. Unfortunately, this is a co-op glitch which means you can only use it together with another player. A solo glitch for duplicating weapons or as a money cheat is currently not known.
To use the glitch you have to do the following:
Start a co-op session with a friend. The player who wants to use the cheat must be the host of the co-op session.
Go to any dealer together and the host must throw their weapons from the inventory/backpack onto the ground.
Leave the inventory or backpack window open and the host must exit the game (no auto-save may be created). Quit the game completely and be invited back into the session by the other player.
You then start the game again with a full inventory, while the weapons that were previously thrown on the ground continue to lie on the ground. You can now sell the weapons to the dealer and earn money very quickly.
By the way, the weapon duplication glitch described above can only ever be used by the host. It could well be that the developers at Dambuster Studios will sooner or later put a stop to the glitch and you will no longer be able to duplicate your weapons. If additional Dead Island 2 cheats for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series or Xbox One appear in the meantime, we will of course add them here.

How to appear offline on the PS5
Changing your online status on PS5 is quite easy, all you have to do is select your user account from the upper right corner of the home screen or from the Control Center, which is accessed by pressing the PS button.
Once you have done it, you will have several options, including ‘Online Status’.
When you select it you will be able to decide if you appear connected, disconnected or ‘Busy’; the latter serves to warn your friends not to bother you.
‘Busy’ is the PS5 version of ‘Do Not Disturb’ and it is quite useful, because it will notify your friends that you are using your console but it will prevent you from receiving notifications that could interrupt your game. It’s also fine for when you want to use your console for something other than gaming, for example watching a movie.
After selecting the option, the way your account appears to your friends will change and it will remain that way unless you change it again or turn off your console.
How to change your online status using the PS App
It is possible to change your status online using the PS App.
To do this you will have to enter Settings of the app for PlayStation mobile devices and choose ‘Personal information | Messages’ followed by ‘Online Status and Playing Now’.
From here you can decide who can see your online status, including what you are playing now, with the options Everyone, Friends of Friends or Only friends.
It is not as effective or fast as changing your online status using the PS5, but if you prefer to use the PS App here you have the option.

What is the Remote Play of PS4 and PS5
Remote Play allows you to play your PS5 or your PS4 through other devices, such as a television or a smartphone.
For this you will have to use a device that has the PS Remote Play app and a PS5 or PS4 with the correct settings for the Remote Play.
Importantly, not all games support Remote Play and that the PS5 must be either on or in sleep mode for Remote Play to work. It will not work if the console is off.
How to activate and configure Remote Play on PS5
The first thing you have to configure the Remote Play on PS5 is to make sure that the console settings allow you to use it remotely.
Once you’ve downloaded and installed the app, go to your PS5 to make sure your console settings allow Remote Play.
The first thing, you have to activate the Remote Play itself with these steps:
Go to ‘Settings’
Select ‘System’
Select ‘Remote Play’
Select ‘Activate Remote Play’ and make sure the option is activated
When you have Remote Play activated on your PS5 you will have to download the PS Remote Play app on the device where you want to use the PS5 remotely.
If you are going to use it on PC or Mac, you have to download the app from the Remote Play page on the Sony website. If you are going to use the Remote Play on iPhone or Android, you will have to download the PS Remote Play app from the App Store or Google Play.
After the app is downloaded, you will have to log in from your PlayStation Network account and follow the on-screen instructions.
When prompted, select your PS5 from the list of available consoles and wait for both devices to be paired. Importantly, you’ll need to be logged into the correct PlayStation Network account on the PS5 for the Remote Play option to appear.
If all goes well, you will have remotely connected to your PS5!
How to wake up Remote Play with PS5 sleep mode
Although you can’t use Remote Play when the PS5 is offline, it can be used when the console is in sleep mode.
If you want to activate this option, follow these steps on your PS5:
Go to ‘Settings’
Select ‘System’
Select ‘Energy Saving’
Select ‘Functions available in standby mode’ and activate it
Select ‘Allow PS5 to be turned on from the internet’ and turn it on
This will allow you to use Remote Play on your PS5 from sleep mode, but remember, you can’t use Remote Play if your PS5 is completely off.
PS5 Remote Play on PS4
Days before the launch of the PS5, PS4 users woke up to a new app installed on their consoles: PS5 Remote Play.
As the name suggests, this app allows you to play your PS5 on any PS4 console as long as the PS5 is correctly activated with Remote Play. You can use your DualShock 4 controller instead of the PS5 DualSense controller.
As happens when you use Remote Play on other devices, you will have to follow the instructions to connect your PS5 remotely, but once you do, you will find yourself on the PS5 home screen.
Importantly, when playing remotely via PS4 there are some small control changes.
Pressing the PS button on the DualShock 4 will open a small exclusive Remote Play menu that will allow you to switch between the PS5 home screen or the Control Center, mute the microphone, return to the PS4 main page or end the Remote Play session .

How to add new accounts on PS5
If you want to create a new account on your PS5, you have to select the option ‘Add User’. It is easy to access it in different ways:
From the user selection screen that appears when you turn on the console
The ‘Change User’ option from the home screen
From the Control Center, pressing the PS button
The ‘Users and Accounts’ submenu in the console settings
Regardless of the method, the same screen will always appear with three options:
Get started – create a permanent account on your PS5
Login and Play – temporarily log into your PlayStation Network account on this console
Quick Play – anonymous temporary account
To create a permanent user on PS5, you have to select the ‘Get Started’ option.
You will have the option of logging into a PlayStation Network account, creating a new one, using the Playstation mobile app to log into your account by scanning a QR code, or creating an offline account.
If you want to use a previous PlayStation Network account, you will have to log in with that account on PS5 and manage various functions, including Data Collection.
If you want to create a new account, you can create a new user.
If you choose to create an offline account, you can choose an icon and name so that you can start enjoying your PS5 right away.
These instructions will also allow you to create an account for a minor: once you create the account, visit ‘Family and Parental Controls’ in the PS5 settings menu to manage parental controls.
How to switch user on PS5
There are two main ways to switch users when playing on PS5.
The first is to visit the home screen and go up to the user account option in the upper right corner of the screen. You will know when you have arrived because your username will appear below.
Interacting with this menu will open a submenu with various options, including ‘Change user.’
Select ‘Change user’ to open a new menu with all users who have an account on this PS5.
You can select with which user you want to be able to play and get access to files such as saved games on the console. You may have to enter your password if you have set one.
The second way to change users is to access the Control Center by pressing the PS button and selecting the user account option.
You will have to follow the same steps that we have indicated above.
How to add guests and Quick Play on PS5
There are two ways to add a guest account on your PS5: allow someone to temporarily access their PlayStation Network account on your console, or use Quick Play, which will create a temporary user on your PS5.
These options will automatically delete any data that is created during your time on your console, so don’t worry because you won’t waste space on your console.
Both can be found in the ‘Add User’ menu, which you can access in several ways:
From the user selection screen that appears when you turn on the console
The ‘Change User’ option from the home screen
From the Control Center, pressing the PS button
The ‘Users and Accounts’ submenu in the console settings
In either case, after selecting ‘Add User’ you can choose between ‘Login and Play’ or ‘Quick Play.’
Choosing ‘Login and Play’ will allow you to access your PlayStation Network account and, from that moment on, use the console as if it were your own, although the data will not be saved locally.
Selecting ‘Quick Play’ will create a guest account on your PS5 that will have access to all the games and functionality of the console. If you have the PS5 version with a reader, you can play any game that you have a disc version of.
This guest account will automatically disappear when you choose a new user or turn off the PS5.
How to remove PS5 users
To remove a user from your PS5, first go to the console settings, which you can easily find in the upper right corner of the home screen.
Go down to ‘Users and Accounts’ and choose the option ‘Users’.
A list of all the accounts that are linked to your PS5 will appear.
Choose the account you want to delete and a small paper icon will appear.
The PS5 will ask if you want to remove that user from the PS5.
If you confirm it, this user will be deleted along with the saved games they have on the console.

Sony has followed its usual strategy by announcing a review of its latest major console and two new PlayStation 5 models will be available before the end of the year. Although the company has avoided referring to these as ‘PS5 Slim’, the truth is that this is how it promises to be known by players. At the end of the day, it is still a review with a stylized design and small size. The movement is very similar to what the company has carried out in previous generations. There are many very interesting details in this novelty, which once again offers us an alternative with a disc reader and another completely digital one. However, it is easy to find a reason to raise your eyebrows.
European gamers pay more to enjoy PlayStation 5
As rumors suggested, the digital model of this PlayStation 5 ‘Slim’ will arrive with the possibility of adding an external disk reader. “If you buy the PS5 Digital Edition, you can add the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc reader later, as it will be sold separately,” the company announces. The truth is that it is good news by offering even more options to the consumer. The idea also seems very well resolved in terms of design since the external reader can be integrated in an almost imperceptible way. However, there is a problem with the price. We are not referring to whether it is too expensive or well adjusted, but rather that European players will have to pay a very considerable extra.
While the external drive reader will be sold at a price of $79.99 (75.3 euros) in the United States, European players will have to shell out 119.99 euros to get it. A extra cost close to 60% which becomes almost a luxury tax for consumers on the continent. It must be taken into account that this situation will affect all countries in the euro zone and, to a lesser extent, the United Kingdom. Although British consumers are better off than their neighbors, they will also pay 99.99 pounds (115.7 euros) for a total amount much higher than that of North American customers.
The PS5 external reader is very well integrated into the design of the console.
The price difference It will also affect new models of Playstation 5. Buyers in the United States, United Kingdom and Spain will pay almost the same when they try to get the digital model (the price is around 449.99 euros in the three regions). However, the same will not happen with the version that includes a reader. While in North America this edition will be available for $499.99 (470 euros) in our economic zone and the British territory will cost around 550 euros. This situation with respect to Sony products has been common throughout the current generation of consoles. Although the purchasing power on our continent is lower, purchasing the company’s products is much more expensive. The company defends it by referring to “the global economic context”but a 60% extra cost seems very difficult to understand.
The vertical support of the new PlayStation 5 will be sold separately
In the announcement of the console, Sony has also confirmed that the new model of the machine It will not include a support for vertical placement. This little gadget, which avoids placing the PS5 directly on its case, will be sold separately at a price of 29.99 euros ($29.99 in the United States). The console will include a horizontal support as standard, now perhaps easier to take advantage of since the size has been reduced by 30%.

On the net you can find both free and paid trainers with a money cheat, but also with cheats for stamina, no hunger, infinite energy, water fields automatically and fertilize or increase friendship with a certain villager to the maximum.
In older parts there were some different glitches that could be used as money cheats. For example, a glitch is a duplication glitch that allows you to duplicate items. You can then sell the duplicated items to the dealer and use them as a kind of money cheat. So far, no glitch has been found in Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life on Switch, PS5, Xbox Series or PC. Should this change over time, we will add the information here.

Unsurprisingly, Ghost of Tsushima can be played at 60 FPS on PS5 (a performance boost over PS4 and PS4 Pro), but it is only now that Digital Foundry has had time to dwell on the changes the game goes through when played on the new console.
The conclusion reached is that the increase to 60 FPS is a change made on a global scale, without having optimized the code programming.
On PS5 there are practically no breaks in the frame-rate, but when they do – for example, when you activate photo mode – they always coincide with the same performance drops as PS4 and PS4 Pro.
These simultaneous drops point to such a change made at the system level, without the Sucker Punch having revised the code to better take advantage of the greater power of the PS5. Still, the result is satisfactory and Digital Foundry even recommends that you play on PS5 if you have not yet had contact with the game.
The game preserves the option to choose between a performance mode and a resolution mode, but playing on PS5, there is no difference in performance between the two modes. In resolution mode the game runs at 1600p, with no problem reaching the 60 FPS target most of the time.
As there are cinematics that mix real time with pre-rendered elements, these will be the occasions when performance on PS5 is limited to 30 FPS. Check out the Digital Foundry video below.
Are there already mods for F1 23? How can you install a mod in F1 23 and is it also possible on the console? A few days ago, the new F1 offshoot from Codemasters and Electronic Arts was released for PC and console. As every year, the new F1 23 is also very popular. Anyone who has already played some of the game’s predecessors may have downloaded and installed a mod from websites such as racedepartment.com. In addition to cheats, popular mods also include paintwork and skins, mods with which you can improve the AI, realistic graphics mods or the telemetry tool with which you can display lots of information about the car. The question arises, can the mods also be installed in F1 23?
Install mods in F1 23
The F1 22 mods are at least currently not directly compatible with F1 23. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t already some modders who are adapting their mods to the new part. The first modifications for the game can already be found on the well-known mod websites such as the aforementioned racedepartment.com, but also on nexusmods.com. As in the previous versions, the installation is very easy in most cases, by simply downloading the mod and moving the contents of the .zip or .rar archive to the F1 23 installation directory.

Now move the content to the installation directory of F1 23 (close the game first). The installation directory can be displayed in Steam or Origin under Properties. From the Steam version, the path looks something like this: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\F1 23
Then start the game again and the mod should be installed.
Some more complex mods sometimes require additional steps. For this reason it is always advisable to read the enclosed readme file, where the additional installation steps are often described.
Mods on the PS5 or Xbox Series?
Unfortunately, F1 23 does not yet offer official mod support. For this reason, you can’t install any modifications in the console version at the moment.

Apparently the system software of PlayStation 5 is creating several problems for console owners. Some users have reported a conflict between the external SSDs and the software, causing the console database to be rebuilt. But now there is a new piece to this puzzle and it would have to do with Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Journalist Jeff Gerstmann seems to have found the reason for this problem: apparently putting the PlayStation 5 into sleep mode with Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered running causes the console to crash. “It appears that putting a PS5 into rest mode while Spider-Man Remastered is running freezes the entire system, forcing the ‘external drive repair’ process when starting the backup. At least it was like that for me the few times I did it today“he writes in a tweet.
For now, therefore, the universal advice is not to put the console in rest mode with the game still running. An excellent reminder waiting for a possible patch for all those who still do not have the console available.
Seems like putting a PS5 into rest mode while Spider-Man Remastered is running crashes the whole system, forcing that “repair your external drive” process when you start back up. At least that’s how it’s been for me the few times I’ve done that today.

Anyone who has bought the new F1 23 and has already played one or two rounds against friends or players from all over the world online may ask themselves how can the name be changed? Is there a setting in F1 23 to change the visible player name and if so where is it on the pc or console version?
Customize player names in F1 23
As in the predecessors, there is no option in F1 23 to set a “player name” in the game that is displayed to the other players. Instead, it simply uses the EA name, Steam name, PSN name, or Xbox Live name set on PC or console. This also means that if you want to change the visible player name in F1 23 multiplayer, you can only do this by changing the name on the respective platform. In Steam and in the EA client you can change the name relatively easily, as follows.
Steam:
Open the Steam client, click on the name in the upper right corner and “View my profile”.
You can now change and save the profile name using the “Edit profile” button.
EA Client:
Open EA Client, click on the profile picture in the top right corner and then click on “Edit Profile”.
You can now assign a new player name under “Change nickname”, which will then also be displayed in F1 23.
If you play F1 23 on PS5 or PS4 and want to change the name to F1 23, you need to change the PSN name. The first name change is free, but subsequent name changes will incur charges on PlayStation Network. If you have an active PS Plus subscription, you will receive a 50 percent discount. The situation is similar on Xbox One and Xbox Series in Xbox Live.

The open beta of the cozy MMO Palia started a few days ago. The game of Singularity 6, as expected, enjoys great popularity among players. So far, the open beta has only been available for the PC and one or the other player may be wondering when will Palia be released for the PlayStation? Is there already a release for the PS4 or PS5?
When is Palia coming out for PS4 or PS4?
The short answer to the question is that no implementation of Palia for the PS4 or PS5 is currently planned. As you can see from the official FAQ for the release of the Nintendo Switch version, the developers are currently concentrating on the implementation on the PC and the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version of Palia is currently planned for the end of the year. Nevertheless, the FAQ also states that they are well aware of the demand from players on other platforms and that the release of the cozy MMO on other platforms is therefore not ruled out.
As soon as there is more information about a release of Palia on the PS5 or PS4, we will update the information here. However, as already mentioned, one should not have the greatest hopes that an implementation on the PlayStation will follow in the near future. As a PS5 or PS4 owner, you will probably have to wait until the release of the Nintendo Switch version, which is due to appear at the end of the year.

Add new PS5 accounts

Digital Foundry tested the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of Lords of the Fallen. Even after the patches, the Xbox consoles are struggling with frame rate drops down to the single digits.
The Xbox Series S Performance Mode has a 720p dynamic resolution between 768×432 – 1280×720. The frame rate in this mode usually fluctuates between 60 and 40 FPS. You experience a serious drop in resolution and FPS in the boss fight against Pieta. Here the resolution drops to the minimum of 432p while only 21 – 25 frames per second are achieved. In this case, the image quality during movement is often poor.
In smaller, closed dungeons, the Xbox Series S can reach 60 FPS. One problem is the frame time “delivery”, which can lead to sudden drops below 10 FPS. Another patch is needed here.
