Q1 23: How many chapters in Braking Point 2? (playing time)

The new F1 23 was released a few days ago and the new F1 offshoot from Codemasters is enjoying great popularity again. The new features include the second part of the popular story mode Braking Point, which took a break in the last part. Braking Point 2 tells the story of the young and aspiring racing driver Aiden Jackson and his protagonist Devon Butler. You find yourself in the middle of the duel between the two drivers and the cutscenes are shown in a kind of documentary style that may remind some players of the “Drive to Survive” Netflix documentary. Anyone who has just plunged into the adventure of F1 23 Braking Point 2 may be wondering about the playing time and duration of the campaign. How many chapters are there in Breaking Point 2 and approximately how long does the story campaign last?

F1 23 Breaking Point 2: How many chapters are there?

In terms of length and playing time, Braking Point 2 is slightly longer than the first part and there are a total of 17 chapters in the story mode. Depending on the style of play and level of difficulty, you will spend around 7 to 8 hours on the story. In each race you have to complete various objectives in order to unlock the next chapter. The goals include, among other things, reaching a certain position in a race, overtaking a certain driver by up to one lap or finishing in first place and thus winning the race. In addition to the main goals, there are also various optional goals with which you can, for example, unlock further answer options in the interviews after the race.

Tip: You can create your own league in F1 23 and race together with friends or players from all over the world.

France authorizes the search for natural hydrogen reserves for the first time

The French government has authorized, for the first time in France, a research project on so-called “white” hydrogen, a fuel naturally present in the subsoil and of growing interest in decarbonizing industry and transport.

Announced in the Official newspaperSunday, December 3, this “exclusive research permit on native hydrogen mines, helium and related substances known as “Save Earth H2”” will concern an area of approximately 225 square kilometers located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, specifies the decree of November 23 signed by the Minister of Energy Transition, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, and by the Minister Delegate in charge of industry, Roland Lescure .

It was granted to the company TBH2 Aquitaine for a period of five years, thus becoming the first research project on natural hydrogen to be authorized among six files submitted in France, announced the Ministry of Energy Transition. The ministry also clarified that the other five are “at instruction”.

“TBH2 Aquitaine will remain the first company in France to have obtained an exclusive research permit on native hydrogen”welcomed Vincent Bordmann, the founder of the company, evoking a ” big day ” . According to him, the granting of this permit makes it possible to begin exploration work, in particular studies, particularly seismic ones. Drilling will only take place in two or three years, after new authorizations.

Another application filed in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques

In the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, another permit application was submitted in March jointly by the companies 45-8 ENERGY and Storengy, for an area of 266 square kilometers, adjoining the Sauve Terre H2 project over 10 kilometers.

Hydrogen is highly coveted for the decarbonization potential it offers to industries and mobility, provided that it is itself produced from green or decarbonized electricity.

Present naturally everywhere on the planet, white hydrogen arouses growing appetites, because it has the advantage of not emitting carbon dioxide, one of the greenhouse gases responsible for climate change, unlike that produced by from fossil fuels called “gray” hydrogen.

So far, 95% of hydrogen produced worldwide is gray hydrogen, manufactured by chemical or petrochemical manufacturers by “reforming” gas, a process that nevertheless emits a lot of greenhouse gases. Other forms of hydrogen exist: “blue”, “green” and “yellow”, depending on whether they use gas with carbon capture, green electricity (wind, solar, hydroelectric) by electrolysis of water or that it is produced from nuclear electricity. .

9 short PS5 games with a playing time of less than 8 hours

If you have a PlayStation 5 at home, we can imagine that you prefer to play as many games as possible. But with everything that comes out for the console, you grow like crazy. That is not the case with these short PS5 games that you can complete very quickly.

Astro’s Playroom (4 hours)

Every PlayStation 5 owner has the first game in this list. Astro’s Playroom is pre-installed on every console. The game introduces you to your console in a playful way by introducing all the functions one by one. Think of the new haptic feedback from your DualSense controller and more.

Astro then also takes you on an adventure through the history of PlayStation. You really see everything in the game, while you are out and about in beautiful worlds. And all that only takes 4 hours. After those four hours you have already reached the credits and you can start thinking about which game you will play next.

The Pathless (6 hours)

The next game is a mythical adventure from the makers of ABZÛ. The Pathless puts you in the shoes of an archer who finds an eagle in a vast forest. Soon you are working to save the world that has been corrupted by a dark force. By using your bow you can move at lightning speed and move acrobatically. In the meantime, you build a bond with your eagle who guides you through the game’s large open world.

The corrupt spirits that reside in this world will try to stop you at all costs, but you in turn must free them. Will you be able to rid the world of all dark energy? The Pathless doesn’t give you a fixed route, but it will keep you busy for at least six hours.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales (7.5 hours)

An adventure that can be done very well on the PlayStation 5 is the content for Marvel’s Spider-Man. Miles Morales is a game in itself that builds on the story from Spider-Man. With a whole new Spider-Man at your fingertips, you’ll swing your way through crowded streets, shopping centers and more. The goal: discover where a supervillain is hiding who is making your New York unsafe.

To stop the destructive force that threatens your city, you just have to learn to deal with your new powers. That doesn’t seem to be as easy as it seems, but in the 7.5 hours that the game lasts you will increasingly master your Spider-Man powers.

Bugsnax (7.5 hours)

A game you may have downloaded for free is Bugsnax. The game was completely free a while ago via the PS Plus update. In Bugsnax you explore an island as a journalist. When you arrive on Snaktooth Island, at the invitation of Elizabert Megafig, all that appears is that she has disappeared. So you look for the lady, but her followers must also be sought.

As you search the island for Elizabert, you collect her loyal followers and discover what exactly the Bugsnax are. They are not just insects or fruit, but a mix of both. They also seem to be delicious, but you can discover that for yourself during your 7.5-hour adventure on the island.

The Falconeer (5 hours)

If you’re not into islands, but prefer to fly high in the sky, then The Falconeer is for you. The game puts you in control of your own bird and lets you battle enemies in spectacular aerial battles. The Great Ursee is the open world that has suffered for years under humanity and in the meantime all the betrayals and misconduct are slowly but surely being discredited. Yet there are groups that want to preserve the past, while you want to put an end to the poison that is ruining the world.

A fierce battle that lasts at least 5 hours awaits you, during which you will be presented with various main and side missions and you will have to fight pirates, giant crabs and other threats. Luckily you have your lightning bolts ready!

Greak: Memories of Azur (5 hours)

Greak: Memories of Azur lets you get started with not one, but no fewer than three characters. Greak, Adara and Raydel are three children of the magical Courines race who navigate the land of Azur. Along the way they encounter all kinds of challenges in the form of platform action and puzzles. Their country has been invaded by the evil Urlag and that cannot happen easily. It is your task to use the unique powers of the three to build an airship. With this, you must ultimately flee the country before it is too late and you fall prey to the Urlag.

You collect the parts of the airship while enjoying beautiful hand-drawn graphics and a soundtrack made by an entire orchestra. The compelling story about family, friendship and emotion will easily keep you busy for five hours.

Alex Kidd In Miracle World DX (3 hours)

A classic with a new look on this list is Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX. Hand-drawn art, a great soundtrack and classic gameplay will keep you busy for a few hours in this platformer. Your country is threatened by an evil king, but before you can deal with him you must navigate to his castle and deal with his generals.

You don’t simply do this by fighting with them, but you have to beat them in a number of games of rock, paper, scissors. If you beat them, you eventually get to fight them and then navigate your way through Miracle World. In between you have to run, climb, sail, fly and motorbike to cross the country. As a bonus, you can also get started with the classic one. In principle you can reach the end within three hours, but believe us it actually takes about five hours before you see the credits.

Evergate (5.5 hours)

Another great game that you can complete in no time is Evergate. In this game you explore a beautiful, hand-drawn world as a soul named Ki. As you travel through the world, you discover mysterious powers, collect artifacts, collect and literally play with time. You have to move time forward or backward to progress in the game.

In this way, Evergate creates cool puzzles that challenge your brain, while you enjoy the beautiful soundtrack. The moving story about two souls looking for each other strikes a chord more than once. Unfortunately, the game only lasts 5.5 hours.

Spirit of the North (5.5 hours)

Once again we have arrived at the last short PlayStation 5 game on this list, and we’ll take another look at it. Spirit of the North is a short game at 5.5 hours, but one that you must play. The game puts you in the shoes of a fox whose path crosses with a guardian of the Northern Lights. This spirit fox takes you on an adventure based on Scandinavian folklore.

There is no dialogue in the game, so the visuals have to do their job. And believe us, they do. Solve all kinds of puzzles and explore your surroundings to discover everything about an ancient civilization and the story of the mountains and the red sky. The land in ruins tells a story of loss and reveals the nature of the spirit fox.

Do you have a short PlayStation 5 game that is not on this list? Let us know in the comments below!

Juliette Binoche talks about her breakup with Benoît Magimel and the aftermath: “The unsaid things accumulated over time…”

Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel met in 1999 and remained a couple until 2003. They recently found themselves on the set of the film “The Passion of Dodin Bouffant”.

Together, they formed one of the most glamorous couples in French cinema. And when they meet on screen, Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel still spark. Currently showing in the series The New Look by Todd A. Kessler, in which she plays Coco Chanel, the actress has barely come out of the promotion of the very beautiful The Passion of Dodin Bouffant by Tran Anh Hung… the recent opportunity for her to respond to her former companion.

Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel met in 1999 on the set of the film Children of the century, by Diane Kurys. Two decades later, here they are together again on a set… with pleasure, of course, but also with a certain fear in their stomachs. “I was nervous to find himadmits the actress in the pages of the magazine Vanity Fair. But this film made it possible to express, to put into motion in fact, the silences, the unsaid things which had accumulated over time.“

Benoît Magimel in tears at the Cannes Film Festival

Of course, Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel maintained very cordial relations, although they did not see each other much for many years. They had, together, a daughter named Hannah in 1999 – the actress also had Raphaël with André Hallé’s diver in 1993. Today, they never stop giving each other little winks, pretty words, kisses in interviews… sometimes even teasing. Juliette Binoche did not hesitate to say that Benoît Magimel cried tears during the screening of The Passion of Dodin Bouffant at the Cannes International Film Festival, notably in front of the final scene – the gourmet feature film won the prize for directing. “It wasn’t little tears, but real sobsshe remembers. I was embarrassed, but at the same time died of laughter.”

Rumor: Codemasters is putting the DiRT series on hold for the time being and focusing on WRC games

In 2020 it was announced that Codemasters had obtained the official WRC license for the period from 2023 to 2027. This means that from next year the developer will be the only studio to make officially licensed WRC games. When that agreement was announced, Codemasters indicated that it would not be at the expense of the well-known DiRT franchise. The studio said it remained committed to DiRT and even reported that the team behind the DiRT Rally games was already working on a new part at the time. Now this seems to be turning out differently.

Insider Tom Henderson reports namely that Codemasters is now fully focused on its first WRC game when it comes to rally games. DiRT Rally 3 was indeed in development, but according to Henderson was scrapped at the end of last year. In fact, it seems that the entire DiRT series has been put on hold for the time being. Codemasters will focus on nothing but F1, GRID and WRC for the foreseeable future, Henderson said.

Henderson relies on his sources, but there are already concrete indications that point in the same direction. EA, which acquired Codemasters early last year, has it official Twitter account of the DiRT games have changed their name. The account is now simply called “EA SPORTS Rally,” which also seems to suggest that the focus is no longer on DiRT.

In short: enough indications that we will hear little or nothing from the DiRT games in the coming years and that Codemasters will fully focus on WRC, now that the license is in the hands of Codemasters. Of course, Henderson’s report has not been confirmed, so consider it a rumor for now. It’s not yet known when Codemasters’ new WRC game will be officially announced, but it’s likely to be released next year, when the license will officially go to Codemasters.

XDefiant will be supported for a “long time”; closed beta may be extended

The former Call of Duty pro, who now works at Ubisoft, says that XDefiant is not a simple release and that the game is then finished. Price says they hope they can support the shooter long after release. For example, we can think of updates with new content and new seasons, so that’s something fans can keep in mind if they decide to get started with the game.

Meanwhile, the beta is not yet going as hoped. Ubisoft has already rolled out a number of updates to stabilize the situation. Executive producer Mark Rubin has already indicated on Twitter that he is fed up with the problems that have (or have been) and that Ubisoft is considering extending the closed beta once things have improved.

Oh, and if all goes well and the servers finally gain some stability then I think we should look at extending the Beta but I have to see what that would mean for team.

How to activate multi-window in MIUI 14: so you can have two applications open on the screen at the same time

One of the most useful and underused functions in our Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO mobiles is the multi-window function, a shortcut that is used to display several application windows at the same time on the mobile screen. We tell you how to activate this function and make the most of it.

And it is that with multi-window or split screen It will be as if we had two monitors, being able to open two applications at the same time and make use of them. With this function, for example, we can reply on WhatsApp while watching a video on YouTube at the same time, or write notes in Google Keep without having to close the news item we are reading. A tool that multiplies productivity and that is very useful on current smartphones capable of multitasking.

How to activate multi-window on your mobile with MIUI 14, also compatible with MIUI 13

To be able to use the split screen you have two options, depending on whether you use gestures, that is, if you play in full screen or if you use the usual three buttons on the bottom bar of the screen.

If you use the gestures you will have to drag with your finger from the lower frame to see all the open applications and choose which ones you want to create a multi-window or split screen with. If you use the buttons, you just have to click on the square icon that shows all the open applications and follow the same process, choose which one you want to create the multi-window with, keeping your finger pressed on it.

This will unlock a pop-up menu and you will only have to follow these steps:

  • tap on it two rectangles icon which is used to create a split screen or on the frame within another frame which is used to create a popup window within another main window.
  • If you choose the first option you will see that you can open two windows at the same time and if you touch the central bar you can go up or down and regulate how much space you want each one to use.
  • You can even rotate this function and see the two open windows horizontally or vertically, as shown in the following image.

Best of all, this split screen feature is also compatible with all phones equipped with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, and with phones equipped with MIUI 13 based on Android 12.

Finally, whenever you want to close one of the windows, press ‘Exit’ on it and it will close, leaving only a single window open. You can reopen new windows as many times as you want. Yes indeed, there are some applications that are not compatible. They are those that have protection against screen recording, such as Netflix and other streaming platforms.

However, most messaging apps and many video games are compatible with this useful tool. Get the most out of it, you will see how very useful it can be.

Here’s how I did a 365-day time lapse with the iPhone and two simple shortcuts

Today, I just completed a one-year Time Lapse. My tools? An iPhone and two shortcuts. With the greatest simplicity, I photograph the view from my house for 356 days and the result is a video of the changing of the seasons, from spring to spring.

Every day at 3 p.m.

Today, I just completed a one-year Time Lapse. My tools? An iPhone and two shortcuts.

You can find a detailed guide at @SamaGame.

Simplicity and ease have been key to carrying out the projectSince I wanted to avoid having tripods, dedicated cameras and other mounts around the house. So after several tests and trials, I established some simple rules and followed them for a whole year. The objective of the exercise was to photograph the view of my house every day at three in the afternoon, a favorable time for me and well lit.

The first challenge that was presented was storage of photographs. Of course I could just take the photos and save them in the app Pictures, but the idea of having so many photos mixed together seemed messy, so I decided on a shortcut.

Thanks to the app Shortcuts I immediately knew I could do two things: save photos outside of Pictures easily and automatically edit the video without any intervention on my part. So I put get down to business and I created two shortcuts.

Shortcuts, my main tool

The first shortcut is very simple. Take a photo, rename it, and save it to iCloud. Let’s see in more detail how to create this shortcut:

  • We open the app Shortcuts on our iPhone (or iPad).
  • We touch To create a shortcut.
  • We are looking for Photo and we add To take a picture, our first step.
  • We are looking for Last name and we add Set the name.
  • We are looking for record and we add Save file.

We have the three basic steps of our shortcut, now let’s adjust the details:

  • We locate Rename the photo to and we touch in the section Last name below.
  • We touch Variables.
  • We choose Current date.
  • In the third step, that of savings, we deactivate Ask where to save.
  • In Destination path, behind / Shortcuts /, we write the name of a folder.
  • We are pressing following.
  • We define a name, for example TimeLapse Photoand click OK.

Shortcut created. We went one more step.

  • We open the app Records.
  • We enter the file Shortcuts in iCloud Drive.
  • We create a folder with the same name as the one we wrote in step 5 of the previous paragraph.

Ready. We can now start to photograph. To remind us to take photos every day at the same time, we have several resources, a reminder can be a good option, but the best option is automate Shortcuts. With this system we can receive a notification every day at a specific time and with a simple touch the system will launch the shortcut for us with the camera ready. Let’s do it:

  • We open the app Shortcuts.
  • We enter the tab Automate.
  • We have hit the « + ».
  • We choose Create personal automation.
  • We touch Time of the day.
  • We choose the precise time.
  • We are pressing following.
  • We touch Add action.
  • We are looking for Shortcuts and we add Run the shortcut.
  • We touch Shortcut, which appears in blue on a gray background.
  • We select our shortcut TimeLapse Photo.
  • We are pressing following.
  • We are pressing Okay.

And do I photograph like that?

The short answer is yes. Along has a few recommendations. One of the least enjoyable things about time lapse videos is shaky video. It goes beyond everyone’s aesthetic taste, he can get giddy to see it. For this reason, photographs in a time lapse must be cropped, straightened, etc. This, yes, with some recommendations we can avoid a lot of post-production work:

  • Let’s go down always in the same place Take the picture. If it’s at home, you can even count the tiles or use a specific reference.
  • Let’s put the camera more or less at the same height, for example around neck height and a few inches away from us.
  • Let’s focus and frame all the photos in the same way. It may sound complex, but it is simple. Once we have followed the previous two steps take two points as a reference. The first one we will use to determine if we are focusing up or down, the second for the right or the left. In my case, for example, there was a floor lamp, the top edge of which still allowed a millimeter to be seen at the bottom of the photo. In addition, he also used the door of a specific house which still only allowed a millimeter to be seen on the far right of the photograph.

Through these steps, we will get the photos almost ready to produce the video without having to make any other adjustments. Every day when we decided, simply we run the shortcut and take the picture, we examine it, we repeat it if necessary or we touch record consider it good.

Postproduction, the other shortcut

After taking all the photos we consider appropriate, we will move on to post-production. I mean, for create a GIF or video with everyone. Again, we’ll do this with a shortcut. We will create it like this:

  • We open the app Shortcuts on our iPhone (or iPad).
  • We touch To create a shortcut.
  • We are looking for Archiver and we add Recover File.
  • We are looking for Filtered and we add Filter files.
  • We are looking for GIF and we add Create GIF.
  • We are looking for View and we add Quick overview.

As before, we will adjust some details:

  • In the action of Recover Files we will activate Select multiple.
  • In the action of Filter files we will touch sort by and we will choose Creation date.
  • In the GIF converting action, we will discuss Show more et en Seconds per photo we will write 0.1. In Width, we will write 2000.

According to my tests, a speed of 0.1 is most suitable, although we can test with 0.2, in which the video will go at half the speed, or other values. Once finished, and as with the previous shortcut, we will touch following, we will write a name then Okay.

To create our GIF, just run the shortcut, in the file selector find our photo file and select all files. When we see the GIF on the screen, we can use the share menu to send it or hang it on our social networks.

How to create our first iOS shortcut step by step

The steps might seem a bit complex, but they’re really straightforward, especially if we know something about the Shortcuts app, which we saw an introduction to a few weeks ago. Once the habit of running the shortcut and photographing has been created, the rest is very simple. Ideas? A daily photo of a factory or a building under construction can give very interesting results.

Platinum Trophy from Exoprimal seems to be a very time consuming job

Of course it is also possible to collect Trophies in Exoprimal. In the run-up to the release at the end of this week, Capcom has now put the Trophies on the PlayStation Network, giving us a good idea of what we need to do to get that coveted platinum.

This makes Exoprimal especially look like a time-consuming activity if you go for the full 100% with the Trophies. The game will also receive Xbox Achievements, but they are not online yet.
