The new EA Sports FC 24 was released a few days ago and, as expected, the game from Electronic Arts is enjoying great popularity. Anyone who has bought EA FC 24 for the PC or console may have problems with the brightness settings when starting the game for the first time. If the image in EA FC 24 is too dark or too bright, you can change the brightness at any time in the settings under the so-called display calibration. In this article we have created a short guide on how exactly this works.
Change brightness and contrast in FC 24
To change the brightness in EA Sports FC 24, you must first access the “Adjust” menu in the main menu using the gear icon and then open the “Game Settings” under “Settings” (not the display calibration). In the game settings you can now adjust the contrast and the brightness under the “Accessibility” tab.
- In the main menu of EA FC 24, open the “Customize” menu at the top left using the gear icon.
- In the “Settings” go to the “Game Settings” and switch to the “Accessibility” tab.
- Adjust the brightness as desired using the slider.
Calibrate brightness in display calibration
If you are not sure whether the brightness setting matches the connected television or monitor, you can change the display calibration again. In the display calibration you can now not only view and adjust the colors and screen size (in case the image is cropped), but also see the brightness. Unfortunately, there is no slider or other setting in the display calibration that allows you to adjust the brightness. The description just says “Adjust the brightness of the display so that you can see the EA logo without the black shadow behind it.” In this case, you always have to go back to the game settings and adjust the brightness.
