[HOT] : Monkey Island is coming to Sea of ​​Thieves this summer!

Guybrush Threepwood arrives in Sea of ​​Thieves

About two years ago, The Legend of Monkey Island made a first appearance in Sea of ​​Thieves in the form of a easter eggs supported within the update centered on Pirates of the Caribbean. Ever since (and ever since the game was released in 2018, actually), fans have wanted even more The Legend of Monkey Island in their adventure and piracy game. Only a few more weeks to go, because it’s finally happening thanks to an ambitious and promising crossover!

In a trailer released as part of the Xbox Games Showcase, Rare revealed that from July 20, its game will receive three new Tall Tales (scenario missions) free of charge dedicated to the famous point & click from LucasFilm Games. The latter has also actively participated in the development of this content. Dates for the next two Tall Tales have yet to be revealed.

Head to Melee Island!

Starting with Mêlée Island, where Guybrush Threepwood is governor, players will visit several iconic locations from the saga. Many well-known characters will also come across, such as Stan, Lady Voodoo or the terrible LeChuck. All are present in the trailer, whose spirit and humor perfectly recall those of the original games launched in 1990 with The Secret of Monkey Island. Trials, puzzles and enemies to slay will of course be on the menu in order to fight against a peril from both worlds.
