How to sort the comments on TikTok? Can you display the comments with the most likes or the most recent comments at the top and if so, how does this work in the TikTok app on Android or iOS (iPhone)? These are questions that have probably been on the minds of one or two users of the TikTok app in recent days. The reason for this is that TikTok has apparently changed the comment sorting for some users and, unlike before, the comments with the most hearts or likes are no longer displayed at the top, but the sorting is now based on the comment date, so that the most recent comments are at the top are displayed. The question arises, can you restore the old sorting of the comments?

Unfortunately, in the current version of the TikTok app there is no way to sort the comments and display the entries with the most likes or the most recent entries at the top. By default, the comments with the most likes are displayed at the top and the current “problem” is probably a bug. So if you have the problem and are now seeing the most recent comments at the top instead of the comments with the most likes, you should log out briefly and log in again. According to reports, reinstalling the TikTok app helped some of those affected, as you can read in the linked Reddit thread, among other things. After the reinstallation at the latest, the usual comment sorting should be restored and displayed under the videos.
