If you look closely at the packaging of the latest PS Vita models, you will see that the model now meets the “PCH-2016” nomenclature, at least on the recent “Mega Pack 1” and “Heroes Mega Pack” packs.
The “2” has been in force since the “Slim” version of the console, and Sony also changes the number when it comes to a major revision of a machine (new model), but these new numbers after this “2” also indicates that something has evolved (the old model was called PCH-2004). But what ? Impossible to say at the moment, although it is certainly something minor, a bit like the new PS4 models that have appeared since this summer.
Sony will certainly not communicate on the subject, so we will have to rely on the Sunday dissectors to find out the small modifications made to this “new” model.
