Loose rumors for Street Fighter 5

After the formalization, then the excitement, concerning Street Fighter 5, Capcom was very discreet about his future fighting game.

So it’s the fans who are trying to take over, notably Ken Bogard, who in a video on YouTube (since made private), details some new features about the game. The information below seems to have come out of the hat, but remember that Bogart is the man who notably indicated in preview that Street Fighter 5 would be exclusive to the PS4.

Here is what he announces:

  • Release date set in 2016, before the end of the fiscal year (i.e. before the end of March 2016).
  • Climate and dynamic clock in the courses.
  • Game under Unreal Engine 4.
  • New mechanic called V-Trigger where we can change position.
  • 16 characters.
  • A much deeper story mode.
  • Existence of a PC version because Capcom wants to export the game to Latin America, South Asia and Africa.

All this should obviously be taken with a grain of salt, but if this is true, this Street Fighter 5 should take a leap forward compared to its predecessor.
