Another Code: Two Memories – Chapter 1 Walkthrough


Another code: memory combines two cult classic adventure games into one freshly updated package for the Nintendo Switch. Enjoy a touching journey full of mystery and personal growth with Ashley Robins. However, the nature of adventure games, focusing on puzzles and exploration, may prevent some players from progressing. Advice

The goal of this guide is to help players, but I also have some tips to share so that potential players can have the most complete experience possible.

  • Feel free to examine things and chat with the characters at your leisure! This will give you a more complete experience with additional details.
  • If you are still having trouble, feel free to enable “Support Mode” and “Puzzle Hints”. These options guide you to your next objective and help you if a puzzle leaves you perplexed. However, using this guide will provide you with an experience of the game that allows you to witness the story unfold without any intrusive user interface. Plus, you don’t have to fiddle with options if you get stuck.
  • The DAS and your inventory tell the story of your journey. Check them out for more details or to refresh your memory. Need to refresh your memory further? Use your “Backlog” by pressing “R”. It contains ALL dialogue from the game via script. You can even play voice clips!
  • It is possible to skip clue collection segments with only knowledge of the puzzle solution.

Another code: memory -Two memories- Chapter 1: Walkthrough to Meet D

The chapter opens with scenes from history. Once you regain control walk to the front of the boat and talk to Jessica. Select each dialog option to know more. Take a photo if you selected the “Camera” option. During the conversation, the “Biometrics” dialog option becomes available. After discussing each topic, the story continues.

On the island’s harbor, you can talk to the captain, Jessica, and examine some items lying around. Walk towards the stairs in front of the boat to continue the story. Have a relaxed evening chat with the captain and discuss all available topics. Continue the story after the conversation by continue to climb the stairs.

Follow the path until you come across a grid. Examine the door. Turn around and walk towards the viewpoint to continue the story. Examine the “Handmade Stool”. Use the “L Stick” to rotate the stool until you see a key. Use “gyroscopic controls” to guide the key to the hole and throw it outside. Return to the locked door and unlock it by opening your inventory and using it.

After traveling to the next area, press forward. There are some things you can look into along the way. Just past the entrance to the second mineshaft is another story scene. Follow the path Up to you pass under a viaducttriggering the next scene. Climb the first staircase of the mansion to get to the next scene. You can explore a bit, but the next objective lies in the to the right of the “main door”. Proceed to next area.

You are entitled to a cutscene. Then you should continue to the next area. Continue on the way to start the next segment. Examine it three tombstones Before you. You can explore and examine as many things as you want in the cemetery. There are clues scattered around that help you solve the puzzle ahead.. At to the left of the three large tombstones is a “locked wooden door”, which we must cross. THE clues in this area help you unlock it. Passed some graves until to the left of the “locked wooden door” is a ‘Tool shed’. Inside is a “Clover Stone Fragment”.. To the right of the three large headstones are other graves. There is a path leading to the last row of graves just next to the ‘gardening tools’, directly to the right of Thomas Edward’s headstone. At far from this pathin front of the tombstone of William Wells is a grave with a “sprouted stone fragment” on the ground nearby. Insert the “Clover Stone Fragment” into the large headstone of “Lawrence Edward” and the “Sprout Stone Fragment” into the headstone of Thomas Edward. by accessing your inventory via the ‘Y’ button. Remember the orientation of the clovers on the headstones. Grab the right cloversfrom left to right, on “Locked Wooden Door”. Use the “L Stick” to do this. Open the door to move on to the next scene.

Move the “Big Stone” next to the door. Watch the following scene. Go through the entire dialogue with D. Continue to the next area through the door. Go down the stairs and to the front door of the mansion. Examine the dropped item to trigger the next scene, the puzzle/clue collection phase, and certain scenes. Go through the entire dialogue with D to begin the hint phase. You can talk to him to get clues, but the clue is on the tiles in front of the doorway. These dark tiles represent the door knocker combination. Examine the door and use the sticks to enter the code from the knocker. No timing is required! Just put them in order. Go through the door and watch the following scenes from the story.
