In the new free-to-play action role-playing game Dauntless you have to prove your skills in the fight against numerous behemoths. You can form a group with friends or other players using matchmaking and then compete against the numerous behemoths. In terms of gameplay, Dauntless is very reminiscent of the Monster Hunter series, although there are also some differences and special features. Of course, a game like Dauntless is most fun when played with friends. In Dauntless you can quickly create a party and even a guild if you want to play together with friends. The game also natively supports crossplay, so that PC and console players can play together across platforms. If you want to play Dauntless with friends, one or the other may have the problem and you can’t find the friend or the friend doesn’t appear in the search. Since we are probably not alone with the problem, here is a little tip for all players on the PS4 and Xbox One who have the same problem.
Dauntless: Friends are not shown
If you want to play Dauntless with friends on PS4, Xbox One and PC, then you may have the problem and the friends are not showing up or not being found when searching for PSN name or Xbox Gamertag. To get around the “problem” you simply have to link your PSN account or your Xbox Live account with your Epic Games account. If you don’t have an Epic Games account yet, you can create one for free at any time. You can then link your Epic Games account to your PSN account or your Xbox Live account via the account settings.
After you have linked your PSN or Xbox Live account to the Epic Games account, you can search for the Epic Games name and then your friends should also be able to be displayed and invited to a group/lobby.
