Anyone who has already played one or two games in the new EA Sports FC 24 will certainly have sent a player to separate themselves from the opponent and run free. To send a player, you simply have to press the L1 button (PlayStation) or the LB button (Xbox) and the player, such as the winger, runs free. What many players don’t know is that you can also control the second player and specify the direction in which he should run. Control second player
After you have sent the second player off using the “Send” function, you can determine the direction of movement by flicking the right analog stick in the desired direction. The change in direction can then be recognized not only by the changed direction of running, but also by the green arrows that are displayed on the ground. The important thing is that you only have to flick the analog stick in that direction and NOT hold it, otherwise the player with the ball will start doing tricks with the ball instead of the second player moving in that direction.

Call players for support
Instead of sending a player and then controlling it, you can also call a player and ask for support. You can request support using the R1 button (PlayStation) or the RB button (Xbox). If you press the R1 button or the RB button twice in a row, you get support from two players.
