FIFA 20 create and edit your own player (career mode)

In FIFA 20 you can not only play with real football players, but you can also create your own player. You can then select the players you created in different game modes and play with them normally. The game modes include career mode, tournaments and kick-off for male player types and women’s international cup and kick-off for female player types. In this short guide we explain how you can create a player in FIFA 20 and then play him in career mode.

FIFA 20: Create and customize players

If you want to create your own player in FIFA 20, you can do so easily via the main menu under the “Customize” tab. Under the Customize menu you will find the menu item “Create Player” in the bottom bar. You can also edit a real player here and delete the player again.

  1. Start FIFA 20 and select “Create Player” under “Customize” in the main menu.
  2. Next you have to choose whether you want to select a male or female player type. As mentioned above, only male player types can currently be used in career mode.
  3. Now select a player from one of the suggestions and you will be taken to the editing menu. During editing you can adjust almost everything about the player. This includes general things such as name, jersey number, nationality and age but also visual things such as appearance and athleticism (player stats).
  4. It is also important to select the team where the player can be found after creation.

If you now start a kick-off game or a new career with the team to which you added the player you created yourself, then he should also be displayed in the squad (assuming you use the current squad).

Edit your own player

Of course, you can edit and delete the player you created at any time. To do this, select the entry “Create player” again via the main menu and Adjust at the bottom, press the right analog stick once to the right and “Edit created player” appears. You can then select “Created Players” under Country and edit it.
