FIFA 23: A player has unclaimed bonuses

Why does the message “A player has unclaimed bonuses that need to be claimed first” appear in FIFA 23? Where can you find the unclaimed bonuses and how can you access them? This might be the question asked by one or two players who have bought the new FIFA 23 and have already spent an hour or two with the Ultimate Team mode and Division Rivals. As with its predecessor, you can, among other things, play Division Rivals in co-op with friends in the current FIFA offshoot and this is where the above-mentioned message usually occurs. We have created a short guide in this article to find out what this is all about and how to get rid of the message.

A player has unclaimed bonuses

If the message “A player has unclaimed bonuses” is displayed in FIFA 23, then in most cases it is because one of the two co-op players has received their Rivals rewards but has not yet claimed them. The rewards are currently always received on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. German time. You can then either collect the rewards directly from the Division Rivals at the FUT headquarters or use the web or companion app. The unclaimed Division Rivals rewards can be found in Ultimate Team under “Play” and “Division Rivals”. If rewards are available, they will be displayed directly here and you can also pick them up directly.

Not claimed bonuses even though no Rivals rewards available?

There is occasionally a bug in FIFA 23, so that the above message is displayed even if both players no longer have Rivals rewards. In this case, it usually helps to create a new co-op season and just try it again.

By the way, a little bit of information on the side: so far you can’t play FIFA 23 Division Rivals together in crossplay. So you can only play 2v2 if your friends are playing on the same platform as you.
