Find and farm Palia Oysters

Anyone who has already been to a beach in the new Palia will certainly not only have discovered many fish in the water and small animals such as crabs or snails on the beach. Some items can also be found on the ground in the beach areas and these include seashells, corals and oysters. In this short guide we will show you where to find the mussels and oysters and why it is worth farming the seafood.

Find clams, coral and oysters

The mussels, corals but also the oysters can be found mainly on beaches. A good farming area is in Bahari Bay around Beachcomber Cave and Windy Ruins. In the area you will find a very long beach where some shells, corals and oysters lie in the sand and can be easily picked up. You can also find crabs and snails on the beach, which you should also take with you, as they also sell well and can be used to earn money (especially the green crabs). The “seafood” is easy to find, especially at night, as it glows slightly and can be seen from afar.

Update: Not only has the oyster spawn rate been reduced recently, but you can no longer find oysters on the beaches in Palia. The problem should probably be fixed with one of the upcoming updates. Even though you can no longer find oysters on the beaches, shells and corals continue to spawn.

Why should you farm oysters?

If you want to earn money quickly in Palia, you should farm the mussels and especially the oysters. The oysters fetch good selling prices and have the special feature that they can be opened. To do this, open the inventory and then right-click on the oysters. In the oyster you will not only find oyster meat, but with a little luck also a pearl. The pearl can be sold at the merchant for 70 gold each. In addition to the “normal pearl” there is also a green pearl that can be sold for 150 gold. If you farm the beaches in Bahari Bay for around 60 minutes, then with a bit of luck you’ll have around 5,000 to 7,000 gold.
