In the new Harvest Moon The Winds of Anthos, you get all the important tools for daily work on the farm and other tasks early on. The tools include the ax, which is used to fell trees, or the hammer, which is used to remove stones and mine ores. Some of the tools can be improved and upgraded as the game progresses. Among other things, the upgrades reduce the consumption of stamina when using the tools, which can be particularly useful when visiting mines, as you always feel like you are low on stamina.
This is how you can upgrade the tools
The first tools that can be upgraded in Harvest Moon The Winds of Anthos are the hoe and the watering can. After the first quests in the starter village of Lenctenbury, you can upgrade Doc Jr.’s hoe and watering can to get the expert hoe and expert watering can. Later in the game you can improve the ax and the hammer in Herbstburg to get the expert ax and the expert hammer.
In the table below we have briefly summarized the tool upgrade and the materials required for it.
