“Mass Effect 2” is a game for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. BioWare developed, and Electronic Arts released in January 2010. Players take on the role of Shepard, completing quests and missions in an attempt to save humanity from a mysterious threat. You gain party members who also ask you to complete missions for them. Grunt wants you to go to his planet so you can complete missions there. While there, you can make bets on fights between dog-like animals called Varren.
Instructions
1 Travel to Tuchanka, the Krogan world home. You travel here as part of the quest for loyalty for Grunt, a member of your party. Land on the planet.
2 Add Grunt to your game when the party selection screen appears. Add someone else you want to complement your party.
3 Approach Ratch, a Krogan supplier. You will see Urz standing near him; Urz is a Varren you can interact with. Buy some Ratch’s Pajak Meat. Approach Urz and interact with him. Feed the meat. Doing this causes Urz to follow you in this area, and it also allows you to bet on “Varren” fights.
4 Walk to the Varren Fight Pit. The pit is rectangular, with a computer console in one corner and a Krogan standing in the other.
5 Interact with the computer console. This brings us to a betting menu.
6 Bet. Bet on one of the two random Varrens, or bet for or against Urz. Click on the Varren you wish to place a bet on. Click on “Bet 500.”
Tips and Warnings
- To get more content on Tuchanka, try adding Mordin to your party after Grunt, as he has business there too.
How to find the Master Thief in Mass Effect
The master thief in “Mass Effect 2” is part of the “Kasumi: Stolen Memory” downloadable content for the game. Kasumi Goto is the name of the thief and to find her you must first purchase and install the downloadable content. You can find Kasumi recruiting her during the first round of the recruiting records appear in your journal. Kasumi is a stealth and tech expert and she uses attacks that specialize in both areas when you choose her to be on your team.
Instructions
Complete the “Progress of Freedom” mission and check your private terminal for unread messages. There will be a message from Cerberus about Kasumi Goto, the Master Thief.
2 Open the Galaxy map on the Combat Normandy Information Center deck and go to the Citadel. Select the “Dock” to ground option. Choose two team members to accompany you.
3 The approach to advertising next to the Normandy mooring bay that you personally address to. Press the “Action” button.
4 Select an option on the right each time the dialogue wheel appears to progress through the conversation and recruit Kasumi to your crew.
Tips and Warnings
- Options on the left of the dialogue wheel tell you more about Kasumi’s background and intentions, but are not necessary to hear. She will join your team after the conversation, regardless of the options you choose.
