LoL: Primal Ambush skins leaked by Riot themselves

Riot usually fixes the PBE earlier than the live server. And sometimes they accidentally slip in something that wasn’t supposed to be seen.

Riot always places new patches on the PBE before they arrive on the Live server. This includes balance changes, new game modes, and even cosmetics. Data miners typically discover everything on a new PBE patch within the first few hours after the patch. It’s also not uncommon for Riot Games to include items in patches that could have been installed earlier.

Our favorite League of Legends YouTube creator, “SkinSpotlights,” shared a preview of new emotes and icons on X/Twitter yesterday. Among these new icons were some that we know nothing about except what they might look like. As everyone was confused and excited, SkinSpotlights also found the names of these icons.

Apparently we’re getting a new line of skins called Primal Ambush. The first batch of skins will be:

  • Riven Primal Ambush
  • Primal Ambush Talon
  • Primal Ambush Sivir
  • Primal Ambush Vi

New dragon-themed content for Lunar New Year

We’re also getting a lot of emotes that will likely be released with the new esports season. You can most likely get them as rewards by watching competitive matches on lolesports.com.

There will also be a special event icon that appears to be related to Dragon Fist Lee Sin and a border for the legendary Dragon Trainer Tristana skin. It’s safe to assume that with the new Year of the Dragon, we’ll get some Lunar New Year Dragon content.
