Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Lobby is not joinable

Why do I get a “Lobby is not joinable” error when I try to join a lobby and play with friends in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and Blackout? This question is probably currently on the minds of one or two players in the CoD BO4 beta. The error usually occurs when you want to play with friends and join a lobby. Although the invitation is shown as accepted, the player does not appear in the lobby and then receives the error message mentioned above. If you have the same problem, the following solutions may help you.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout The Lobby Is Not Joinable

  1. Check party settings: In the party settings you should check whether the group or lobby is set to “Open” or “Friends only”. You should also set the player limit correctly here, i.e. from 1 to 2 if there is another player.
  2. Restart the game, try again: For some players it is said to have helped to restart the game once. The “Lobby is not joinable” error appears to have occurred because a newly released update for the game has not yet been downloaded and installed.
  3. Friend should invite you: If you invite a friend to a lobby and the message “Lobby is not joinable” appears, then your friend should try to invite you to the group or lobby. Sometimes it works the other way around without any problems for whatever reason.

Sometimes it helped us to wait a moment and send out the invitation several times. Sooner or later the invitation was displayed and could be accepted without the error message “Lobby is not joinable” being displayed. Since Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and the Blackout mode are currently still in beta, the problems will probably be fixed by the time of release.

Do you know other reasons why the error message “Lobby is not joinable” appears in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 on the PS4, Xbox One or PC? How can you actually use the wingsuit in CoD Black Ops 4?
