High On Life Unveils High On Knife, Its First DLC Coming This Fall

Ordinary but friendly High on Lifefrom the creators of Rick & Morty, will be entitled to a first DLC titled High on Knife. It is through a trailer released during the Xbox Games Extended Showcase that we discover the first images, visibly turned towards horror. Terror like “my dreams are going to be shattered for a while” rather than “I could never sleep again”, assure us the developers.

Two new weapons will appear, Harper and BALL, a strange pinball gun powered by a group of tiny, gibberish-speaking monsters. High On Knife takes place two years after the events of High on Life, where everything was going well until Knifey (the talking knife) received a suspicious package. No doubt, we are still in the universe of Rick & Morty.

High on Knife does not yet have a more precise release date than this fall (for Halloween perhaps given the theme) and its price has not been communicated. We hope that the developers will have learned from their mistakes and will release a DLC without technical concerns and why not a bit more innovative on the gameplay side.

As a reminder, our test ofHigh on Life ended as follows:

High on Life, unsurprisingly, is based above all on its completely crazy and particularly successful writing as well as an original aesthetic. It goes in all directions, it surprises many times and if you are a fan of the series, you could have a great time. Obviously, all this is done to the detriment of the complexity of the gameplay which nevertheless avoids the banalities of the genre and will be able to retain you for the ten hours of the single-player campaign. Unfortunately, the game is currently rotten with yo-yoing performance and several technical issues. We therefore recommend to the most curious to wait until all this is corrected.
