How to reset the car if it is on the roof in Need for Speed Heat? Anyone who has already spent an hour or two with NfS Heat and has already driven one or two races will perhaps have rolled over and found themselves with the car loaded on the roof. Occasionally you are forced off the road by the police and your car gets stuck. The question arises, how can you reset the car in NfS Heat and get it back on the road?
Need for Speed Heat: Reset Car
If you have put the car on the roof in Need for Speed Heat, you simply have to hold down the X button (PS4) or the A button (Xbox One) for around three seconds and continue to press the accelerator pedal. The car then automatically reverses and lands back on the road. By the way, it is important that the car is stationary. Only when the car stops moving can you reset it and turn it around again by pressing the X or A button.
In rare cases, the car is stuck so badly that even resetting it as described above doesn’t work. In order to get the car back on the road, you usually have to reload the save game. If you are currently in a race, the race will of course end prematurely and have to be repeated.
