Schell Games announced that Among Us VR will soon be available on PlayStation VR2. Additionally, the developers have confirmed that the game is no longer in development for the original PlayStation VR.
Among Us VR is, as the name suggests, a virtual reality version of the critically acclaimed social deduction game. Innersloth, Schell Games and Robot Teddy initially released the game on November 10, 2022 for Meta Quest and Steam VR. The original Among us the experience is available now on all consoles.
Among Us VR Coming soon to PlayStation VR2
Among Us VR will be released for the PSVR2 and will require its sensing controllers. In-game purchases are present and up to ten players online are supported. The official PlayStation Store describes the game as follows:
Among Us VR is a board game mixing teamwork and betrayal. Grab your team and your headset and jump into the VR version of this hit multiplayer deduction game. Play with 4-10 players as you complete tasks to hold your ship together. But beware! One or more random players among the crew are imposters bent on sabotaging and killing everyone.
In this game, you will either play as a teammate or an imposter.
- Crew Member Mission: Complete all tasks or find the imposter. Keep your eyes and ears open because there is always someone lurking around the corner.
- Imposter Mission: Kill and sabotage teammates! Be as sneaky as possible and lie, lie, lie.

Lately, Among Us VR will soon be available on PlayStation VR2. At the time of writing, the game developers have not yet confirmed the game’s release date.
