In the new Fae Farm you don’t get numerous tools such as the axe, pickaxe or shovel, but also other useful items such as the fishing rod, the landing net or a magic wand. The tools as well as the fishing rod and the net of the landing net can be improved, but what about the magic wand? Which resident can have their magic wand improved?
Improve and upgrade your wand?
The short answer to the question is that you cannot upgrade the wand directly. There is no NPC where you can improve the wand and increase the damage. To improve the wand you have to unlock more spells. The first spell is unlocked after exploring the saltwater mine and Alaric’s subsequent quest in Oststadt. The spell is the whirlpool spell, which conjures up a whirlpool of wind that deals a lot of damage to nearby enemies and throws them away. The whirlpool can also be used to remove the dark clouds and fog in the foggy harbor.
Unlock and use spells
After equipping the wand, you can cast the spells using the F button (PC) or the X button (Nintendo Switch). You can change spells using the X button (PC) or the ZL button (Nintendo Switch). Three more spells will be unlocked later in the game.
