TCL 501 and TCL 505: TCL’s new economical mobile phones boast of their battery, and one of them includes a 50 MP camera


TCL has also been present at the Mobile World Congress 2024, the Asian company has presented a series of mobile phones that are committed to offering a great quality-price ratio among the most economical devices. 50 MP camera and a huge battery for just over 100 euros

The TCL 505.

The star among these devices is, without a doubt, the TCL 505. This terminal has a 6.75-inch screen with HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, which also supports the company’s NXTVISION technology. This technology offers notable improvements in colors and, in addition, a mode that dims the brightness on the screen and gives it a much warmer appearance to avoid eye fatigue when using the mobile at night.

Inside it has a MediaTek Helio G36 processor.eight cores, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM (which can be expanded with an additional 4 GB), promising good performance for daily use. Besides, includes a large battery: 5,010 mAhso autonomy will not be a problem on a day-to-day basis.

Finally, its storage is 128 GB and can be expanded with up to an additional 512 GB via a microSD card.

The TCL 501 features more basic hardware, as it is intended to be what the company calls “an essential smartphone.” Even so, it has a 6-inch screen and an eight-core MediaTek processor, along with 4 GB of RAM (2 GB + 2 GB additional through expansion) and a 3,000 mAh battery. This time, the operating system of the TCL 501 is Android 14 in its Go version.

Price and availability of the TCL 501 and TCL 505

The new TCL 505 will be available in Spain starting next April, with a price that starts at 109 euros, for its 128 GB version. As for the TCL 501, the company has not yet announced its sales price and launch date, but we will be attentive to news about it and will update this article as soon as we know.
