15 million profiles of the Trello cloud service are being sold on the darknet

One of the world’s most popular cloud services for managing teams and projects, trello.com, owned by the international information security company Atlassian, has encountered a serious leak of confidential information.

It is clarified that experts discovered an advertisement on one of the forums of the shadow segment of the Internet. It says that some attackers put up for sale about 15.1 million user profiles of the Trello service. Each of them contains personal information of clients.

As stated by the authors of the Russian-language Telegram channel “Information Leaks”, published messages about the sale of client profiles of the Trello cloud service appear to be reliable. It is also clarified that for each record sold, the attackers provide the following information: the user’s full name, email address, user login in the service, as well as a link to his profile on trello.com.

Trello is a web-based project management and task organization application that uses a Kanban board system to visualize your workflow. Users can create boards (for projects) on which cards (tasks) are placed, which can be moved between columns (task stages). It helps teams organize projects and track progress in real time.
