All Aether Tear Locations in MW3 Zombies

Anyone wishing to unlock permanent entry into the Dark Aether will need to find at least three Aether Tears to obtain special bounty contracts. But finding tears can quickly become frustrating, which is why I have every possible place to look in this guide.

Where to find Aether Tears in MW3 Zombies

There are almost 20 different Aether Tear locations that can spawn across the Urzikstan map in MW3 Zombies. However, you won’t find all the items in a single deployment. Much like the orbs that float around the map, spawn points will change with each match, making them more difficult to find. But the good news is that the possible locations are still the same. The map below contains all Tears of Aether spawns in Urzikstan.

When looking for one of the tears, keep in mind that the symbol will not appear until you get close enough to it. The distance is generous, but you can’t just look at the map. If you get close, there will be a small circle with an upward arrow that indicates the tear that throws you into the sky so you can redeploy.

From my own experience, the best way to find a Tear of Aether spawn is to take a vehicle and search a section of the map from above. Even though most locations don’t have an appearance in a single deployment, there is usually one in a cluster that will appear. If you’re lucky, you’ll probably be able to find at least three in a single game.

What makes tears more frustrating is their lack of permanence. Once someone jumps through, the tear is no longer available in the MW3 Zombies match. So when you set out, make sure you’re ready to move on to the next step in the Dark Aether quest, or just use it to float above danger.

Like many things in Urzikstan, the Warlord also has a spawn point, so be sure to hunt him down if you haven’t already.
