Any Mass Effect: Legendary Edition news coming soon?

It is an understatement to say that many have waited for it (I am one of them). If all goes according to plan, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in Spring 2021, and possibly even March 12. An update for PS5 and Xbox Series improvements are also under consideration at Bioware.

You will tell us that it is not for tomorrow, that we will still have to wait a little while and I agree with you. That said, maybe our enthusiasm will be tempered if a trailer were to appear on the web, let’s say… in a few days.

The information comes from the insider shinobi602who expressed himself on the forums of ResetErawhere he says in response to a member: “you will be able to survive another week”. That was Friday January 29.

Better, it certifies that this edition is “much more than just better quality textures, especially for Mass Effect 1”. He adds:

Don’t expect a Halo 2 Anniversary-level graphical overhaul or anything like that, but it’s clear that there has been a lot of work, not only visually but also from a game systems point of view.

At the time of writing these lines, all this is still to be taken in the state of rumors, but unlike others, Shinobi602 has earned quite a reputation and is one of the ones you can listen to. We’ll be soon if our man hit the nail on the head again.

Moreover, Andrea Reneformer home Game trailersconfirms thatshe saw a complete presentation of the trilogy, without playing it:

I should mention: I did *NOT* get to play the games. I just saw a long presentation about what they’ve been working on. This would be a tough set of games to show in a hands-on event but wouldn’t stop me from trying if EA gave me the opportunity
