Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden guides us through its story with a new trailer

The gameplay shown in the video itself also appears to be very polished.

Don’t Nod surprised us last December with the presentation of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, an ambitious RPG that mixes moments of action with its own narrative from the Life is Strange development studio. This new IP brought to us by Focus Entertainment will put us in the shoes of two lovers, Antea Duarte and Red Mac Raith, whose role is to solve cases related to spirits and break curses.

However, the story of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden does not exactly start on the right foot, as Antea dies from an attack. It is precisely this fact that sets the plot of the video game in motionWell, our protagonists, as the Banishers slogan says, “The living to the world of the living and the dead, to the world of the dead.” This slogan is something that Red Mac will have to deal with, since trying to bring Antea back to life will make him have to rethink to what extent you can fulfill your mission and how to deal with this situation.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will encourage us to make important decisions

In case things were not clear knowing that Don’t Nod is behind the development, the role they take Our decisions in the game will have repercussions throughout the plot, although we will not know in detail how until the final game arrives. We will have to face all kinds of creatures and spirits with the help of Red’s physical abilities and Antea’s mystical powers, at least if we want to help the benevolent spirits who are not able to reach “the other side.”

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be released on November 7, 2023 for Xbox Series and PC. Precisely this year, Don’t Nod has several more titles prepared for usamong which we can highlight Jusant, a climbing game that could be one of the surprises of the year and Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, a visual novel that will not leave you indifferent.
