Crash Team Racing Change difficulty level?

A few days ago the new (old) Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. In the remake of the PS1 classic you have to prove your driving skills with crashes and the like on the well-known but much nicer tracks. In addition to various arcade game modes and an online game mode, there is also a story in the form of adventure mode. If you don’t select the “Classic” adventure mode but “Nitro Fueled”, then you can adjust the difficulty level below. Depending on how much experience you have with a CTR, you can easily overestimate your abilities at the beginning and the opponents are clearly too difficult. The question arises, where and how can you set the level of difficulty in Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled and is this also possible afterwards?

CTR Nitro Fueled: Change difficulty level in adventure mode?

The Difficulty level in the Adventure mode from Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled can be done as mentioned select and set at the beginning. You can choose from here Light, Medium and Difficult. As a beginner you are definitely well served with “medium”, especially if you have not yet gained great experience with the kart racer.

If later in the game it turns out that the difficulty level of the adventure mode is too high, then you can do it (unfortunately) you can’t change it later. There is currently no option that allows you to change the difficulty level as the story progresses. To change this you would have to start adventure mode again from the beginning. You can currently manage and play up to four save games at the same time.

On the next page we’ll show you how to unlock the secret character called Penta Penguin. We’ll also show you the shortcuts on the tracks in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
