Cyberpunk 2077 – an adult-only list of things in the game

CP2077 will not be a title for children.

IN LETTER:

  • CP2077 will be full of content for an adult audience – the list of reasons why the game received the 18+ category includes 28 items;
  • CD Projekt RED’s work will appear during the Summer of Gaming online event organized by IGN.
  • CD Projekt RED studio is known for making games dedicated to an adult audience and it has long been known that Cyberpunk 2077 will also be a similar production. The game has already received an age category from the vast majority of authorities responsible for such issues, although not all of them officially announced their decisions ( we know that in Brazil CP2077 got a rating of 18+). Thanks to the published information, we learned what content “not for children” can be found in the new title of the Polish developer (following the portal Gameguru Mania).

Admittedly, the list is really extensive – includes as many as 28 items and, frankly speaking, its content could easily cover several other games that would still have to be rated “18+”. The list includes, among others gun violence (as well as gun violence, non-violence), illegal drugs use (and descriptions of such activities), gun crime, vulgar language and verbal aggression, mutilation or suicide. The game will also include s*x and nudity, which are devoted to as many as 8 entries on the discussed list of “offenses” of Cyberpunk 2077. You can read the full list below.

  • Weapon without the presence of violence
  • Moderate or suggestive use of illegal drugs
  • Weapons with the presence of violence
  • Crime without violence
  • Description of the consumption of illegal drugs
  • Derogative language
  • Verbal aggression
  • Acts of violence
  • Sexual pleasure
  • Description of the violence
  • Exposure to danger
  • View of dead bodies
  • Wounds on the body
  • Bad language
  • Sexual allusions
  • Blood
  • Description of the consumption or trafficking of illegal drugs
  • Sexualization
  • Sexual abuse
  • Deliberately induced death
  • Nudity
  • Prostitution
  • Sexual relations
  • Consumption of illegal drugs
  • Mutilation
  • Intense sexual relations
  • Suicide
  • Cruelty
  • In short, to say that the latest CD Projekt RED work will be a game for an adult audience is like saying nothing. It seems that we should expect production literally bristling with controversial and heavy motives. Is it good or bad? Everyone has to answer this question for themselves, but a lot will certainly depend on how this type of content is presented.

We would like to remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 will debut on September 17 this year on PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will be available in the full Polish language version.
