What are Chapter Challenges?

First of all, you can’t really see these challenges until you’ve completed a chapter. This doesn’t stop you from completing them first! Many of these challenges involve doing things you would normally do, like gathering items and upgrading your base. However, there are a few extra things like completing quests offered to you and hidden side content. What these challenges do is that once completed, they allow you to build more things in Terra Incognita by unlocking new recipes for you. This makes this extra mode much more satisfying to play with a host of new options. Not to mention that meeting these challenges is simply satisfying!

Dragon Quest Builders Chapter 3 Challenges

Challenges:

• • Collect 200 different types of items.
  • Build your base up to level 5.
  • Defeat all troll and gigante bosses.
  • Complete the spectacular spa plan.
  • Discover the recipe for the Immemorial Slime Lyre.

Defeat all Boss Trolls and Gigantes:

• • Dark and Burning Badlands – In the desert south of the base.
  • Lava Island – In the prison where Barbella was, there is a stone door. Destroy the stone portal to get behind it.
  • Ice Island – Northwest above the mountains.
  • Ruins of Galenholm – In the snowfields southeast of the teleportal.

Spectacular spa plan:

• • The blueprint is obtained in the Ruins of Galenholm, located in a chest in a cave full of ore veins south of the teleportal.
    • You also need a recipe for the Fierce Fountains (necessary to build the Spectacular Spa). The recipe can be found in the northern part of Lava Island. Help the girl bathing in the hot water by obscuring the peeping troll’s view with a block. She gives you the recipe as a thank you.

Timeless Slime Lyre:

• • It is found in the labyrinth located on Ice Island, north of the teleportal. Fill the slime-shaped hole with blue blocks to open the maze entrance. The blue blocks show you the right path.
