FIFA 23: Sign 2 young players

Anyone who has started a coaching career in the new FIFA 23 must, among other things, deal with the goals set by the board. Even if you train the team well and achieve good results, as a coach you can be fired sooner or later if you do not respect the set goals and therefore do not fulfill them. The goals include tasks such as finishing the season with a remaining budget of X, having to take part in certain tournaments and win them, or signing certain players. One goal is, among other things, to sign two young players, but what exactly does that mean?

FIFA 23 Goal: Sign young players

The goal only mentions “young players” and no age is specified. If you then sign a young player who is 20 or 21 years old, then the goal is not marked as completed. The question then arises in this situation: why is the goal not shown as completed and is there a bug here? The short answer is, no, it’s not a bug, because “young players” seems to mean the young players from the youth academy who are 16 to 17 years old. After we promoted two 16-year-old players from the youth academy to professionals, the goal was marked as completed a short time later.

  1. Open career mode and open the “Youth Academy” under the “Team” tab.
  2. Select a player between the ages of 16 and 17 from the available players, select “View Promotions” and then select “Promote to Professional” under “Contract”.

As in the previous FIFA parts, in which the same task was displayed more often in the goals, the signing of young players in FIFA 23 sometimes seems to be a bit buggy. More specifically, the bug appears after being promoted to Pro and the objective is simply not marked as completed.

By the way, there is not only the goal “Sign 2 young players”, but also, for example, “Sign 1 young player”. The goal can of course be completed in the same way as described above.

Is there actually a money cheat for FIFA 23 career mode?
